I just went there to unlock a Tommy gun before the merge (in Normandy it’s is way far away and Pacific allies is rip) and it’s actually crazy, games start with 9 Allies vs 0 Axis
Yeah that’s a pretty frequent occurrence. Probably will be better after the merge when people start tearing up the desert with STGs and tigers.
Speaking of, I wonder if we’ll be allowed to take the drum Tommy into the Pacific since it seems like a good counter to the SIG 1930.
Nope, sig 1930 is at thompson m1a1 level who is at mp40 level using tunisia as metric, if we use normandy is even worse is at sten level

Are you sure? The 1930 has the same mag capacity, far less recoil (making it better at range) and a better sight picture. The thompsons only advantage is a higher rate of fire.
It’s definitely not equal to the M1A1, if for no other reason than the 1930 having almost twice the mag capacity.
Helper confirmed already japanese equipment is no better than mid-br american one and so japanese dont fight high-end american player
My point is that we don’t really know what that means. The M1A1 Thompson is low level in Tunisia, mid level in the Pacific, and high level in Normandy. We also don’t know what happens to weapons like the MP3008 or Volksturmgewehr that are late war but not very powerful.
