Tunisia maps

So far I’ve gotten to play a little over a dozen matches on Tunisia. What I was expecting was a lot of fighting in relatively open terrain. Yet all that I’ve found are matches that take place in a city set in the desert. I’ve only seen one that even has a large sand dune on it, and its on the side of the map for snipers to camp.

I was hoping for maps similar to something like Sands of Tunisia or El Alamein from War Thunder, where large rock outcroppings and giant sand dunes are the prevalent cover on most maps. However, it seems like the devs decided to go with more gameplay of endlessly running through buildings clearing them. I’d just like to see one or two maps where we have mostly organic cover (without making there be too little cover).

Maybe I just havent gotten any maps like this because bad luck. But I just wanted to put this out there and see what the community thinks about this.

I guess Moscow’s quarry is a good step towards sand dunes.

Though I never got to play this one, I mostly get the new Beloe lake map in the last week.

i expected the same to be honest.
with perhaps introduction of mechanized units with halftracks.
but on the other hand, i can’t blain devs as they do not like walking for entire miles just to get mowed down at the first firefight.

despite my expectation being different, i have not being disappointed.
i still like them.

Dropping in on this thread to just say that the Quarry map for Moscow is my current favorite! Good up/down hill combat in a village to start and then opens up into MASSIVE gravel pit with long sight lines rivaling any in the Tunisia map. Very fun to play.
