I’m nearly level 21 on axis, I can honestly say I have premium vehicles , average 80-100 most games (not Al) but it has been one of the most unenjoyable grinds in this game.
I mean I have the CBT Bike squad, why would I want another, I use mine as fast rally point deployment and get bonus XP. Then there is the FW (not going to say any more on that, devs say they they are looking at), then OVP1918, I have not seen a single positive review or any review on this assaulter weapon, noone complaining on here, so I am going to assume it’s rubbish…
The JU87 is fun, but if allies have fighter you have no defence, as no tail gunners (yet), another ranty post but I’m determined to get to max rank axix but need a break from the grind now and again to stop frustration kicking in.

The OVP is fast firing , which is about the only good thing that can be said about it. In absolute close range it is serviceable, but the sight picture is horrible (Beretta 1918 is way better for sights, and I dislike that one too). The good SMG’s IMO would be the M1 and M38/42, even though they are almost identical in most stats, the 40rds is very controllable , even more so when perked correctly.
It can be a grind, it was at first for me, but lately I’ve been holding my own moreso, just need the right combination of half competent Axis players and a little skill.
My favorite part of Tunisia is the absolute abundance of Tanks. I’ve almost tied my record 14 on two separate occasions. And I ended a 5 game spree with 48 (1 loss, 4 wins).
i want to see how OVP performed, but i can’t find a single video about it on Youtube…oh well, to be fair the youtube community is small

Its, not a fun gun at all IMO. I’ll do a comparison to the other SMGs the campaign has. I actually did it for the ZKS-383 for another forum member here, it was fun!

Pro tip: turn crossplay off.
Consoles have nowhere near as bad of a problem with imbalanced teams as crossplay lobbies do.
On PC, Moscow and Tunisia axis teams can’t be bothered to put forward bare minimum effort.

It is a hassle at times playing Axis on Tunisia. At least they added Italians to the mix with their equipment.
Luckily rushed it to max level during the +50% exp bonus

I would I’m sure enjoy playing allied on Tunisia, have all the good axis moved back to Normandy or Moscow?
I’ve been getting nothing but awful German teams in Moscow on PC.
I’m trying to coordinate with these people, to move with them so we have better chances, and they still just go hide in a corner when the shooting starts and don’t come out until I’m dead.
sounds tipical of german players, but i haven’t experienced that in the past week. perhaps i’m just lucky?

Like I said, I’ve mostly been playing it on Xbox because the teams are more balanced there, and I use Xbox as a space to experiment with progression strategies since I’m starting from level 1.
Only problem is that it’s far easier to be precise with planes on PC, so the stuka is hard to use on console.
Can confirm the Axis just need one or two good players to stomp

The Russians have the advantage at an earlier stage with the PPD drum so it seems easier for the Russians to do well with newer players

frankly it is enough to use the ppd (box) up to ppsh41, there is not much difference between the ppds family
