sure. But I like the realism. I think the most important piece is the HE round.

I see it more possitively, i dont have to change ammo all the time, and sometime waste it because i have to shot to reload. And semovente already has little ammo.
either way good MG up top would make it more capable of defending against infantry
anything would be better than current state of semovente
Im pretty happy with Semovente, score is just right after i left my tank, and second one is how it ended up after u left it. Its not Jumbo level of destruction, but still pretty good.
I still see how the stuka destroys two tanks with a 500 kg bomb and a dozen infantry…

its good that you like it, but surely there are improvements that can do this tank more capable, we should not settle with semovente as it is ,but demand more .
what would allied playerbase do if they were told that from now on PPD in moscow will not have drum but only box magazine ? surely they would demand it back cause it has more
ammo. its in peoples nature to want everything better if possible.
while allies have most things perfectly fixed and fine, then germans should as well.
They receive grant tank. We get semovente without HE shells and MG. That aint cool
i also noticed that, maybe they secretly changed it … they could secretly began to change other stuff too… i can see inspiration on forum everyday 
In my opinion, they were able to bring bombs and artillery to mind.But shotguns\machine guns, as well as this stupid scatter - no.

Semovente doesnt need HE shells, its APHE work as HE already, and you dont have to change ammo and waste that little ammo you already have.
They can give it MG, i dont really care, but it will still be useless MG that no one will use because you have to expose 1 out of 3 guys you have.
There is sadly nothing that you could historically add to Semovente right now, to change it even a little bit in performance. Only thing that could really help semovente is sandbags on front, that would be only usefull thing tbh.

I mean it can work fine. But compared to the Grant…it’s shit.
If there will be infantry close enough that you could shot it, your gunner will be dead in seconds.
As i said, they can add it, i dont really care, but for me it changes nothing.
24 rounds MG with 10 seconds reload and you have to be exposed to use it, it will be usefull only when you are out of gun ammo. And even then it is just free kill for any rifleman.
Fundamentally the Semovente will always be worse than the grant. Giving it an HE round, buffing the reload are the most important. But giving it a roof MG is a small nice to have.
Commander very fast up and down,infantry dont know when you up.
But why give it HE? APHE works same as HE shells, you have little ammo count, and you want it to divine shells betwen 2? No thanks, i will rather stay with APHE only, as i dont have to change ammo for armored or soft targets.
Reload can be buffed, but that just means you will be out of ammo faster.
