As a veteran player in enlisted, I am very unhappy with the current game modes due to poor map design and a lack of insight into proper game design.
I won’t be talking about them here since they deserve a post of their own so instead of talking about the game modes we currently have today let’s talk about my own k00ler custom game mode that we as a family should all play at the dinner table instead of Cringeopoly
Tug of war game mode is simple, both teams will have 1k rp and 2 control points in their possession and at the start of the match will contest this one neutral point at the middle of the map (So a total of five control points).
After the point has been captured by the opposing team, that team can now move onto capturing the next 2 points, however the other point cannot be capped until the enemy team captures the second point and then they can finally capture the enemy’s last point leading to a victory.
These points can also be recaptured by the enemy although they have to defend their own point to prevent others from back capping while the rest of the team is trying to capture the enemy’s point, for every point captured the team who captures said point can gain 100 rp .
After some time sudden death can be triggered if the game has gone for too long, once this happens teams can no longer gain rp from capturing points, the time to capture a point has been significantly reduced, and there is no longer a spawn timer.
What this game mode hopes to achieve is a balance between the two teams where both sides have an equal opportunity to destroy each other instead of giving an inordinate amount of power to one side over the other.
