I feel like something like sbmm needs to be implemented if not already because this game was out for a long time and the annoying pay to win soldiers and stuff that people have isn’t fair compared to newer players. Newer players (like me lol) that can’t level up that fast to get the guns that we feel comfortable playing with, unlike veterans. This thing is similar to War Thunder because there you buy a shit ton of cheap high-level tanks and go to play and win. So if enlisted has sbmm it will be definitely easier for the newer player base to adjust their skills by playing with their fair opponents. Although sbmm fixes that, I know for higher-ranked players ETA will be quite longer… Also, veterans could create a spare account and shred noobs. (sbmm will take care of that)
If you truly believe their intention is to create “pay to win”, what makes you think they’ll also intentionally create a system that makes it stop winning? You think them dumb or something? Work on your own logical thinking first.
Also this feature always creates a constant stream of complaints and demands to remove it, unless it’s a highly competitive and highly organized game. Then people just complain that it doesn’t work the way they want it to.
I’m sure we’ll get some sort of matchmaking, but for the love of god, no. No skill based matchmaking. It ruined shooters like Call of Duty where good players can’t go one game with a silly, off-meta weapon because every match they play is a sweat fest against really sweaty players.
If you do good, you’re punished. If you do bad, you’re punished again because you get matched against Timmy and after you shit on him 50 times then the game punishes you again. The way it works now is fine, there’s a mix of good and bad players in the matches.
Time to kill is fine for everything so far keep things semi realistic. If I have to shoot some one 3 times in the chest with a bolt action or half a SMG mag just to down some one like in H&G I’m so gone
It would be great if they borrow the battle rank idea from WT, might be too late to do a full adjustment to that though.
I just started playing last weekend and I didn’t really think it was that hard, although everyone else had to restart as well so in a couple weeks when I try a new army I will likely feel the new player grief.
Funny b coz im so bad in fps games i start on OBT i have only 9 lvl and 5 lvl campaign unlocked…most soldiers 2-3 stars and 1 weapon sometimes start weapon…and im 1-3 in scoreboard. And im realy bad in fps, this is my first online fps i think.Mb in squads its easy to be 1-3? But in lone wolf im not terrible and i fight vs p2w content if u guys are right. So my point is…where is this “p2w” shit? Im realy bad at this game but i can kill premium soldier with start weapon so plz explain me this
Sbmm means skill based matchmaking. It’s a system that intentionally punishes good players by putting them in lobbies with noobs for teammates against full parties of sweats. It makes games more competitive, since you need to sweat in order to overcome the other sweats, and then you become a sweaty player, and the whole community becomes sweaty, making the “victim” game no fun. I hope they never add it to this game.
As I’ve said before if the game puts in SBMM I’m done playing it. SBMM ruins games. We’ve seen this time and again. I’d be perfectly fine with matching teams to be similar in campaign level (Team 1 has a total campaign level of 150 while Team 2 has a total campaign level of 152) with different skilled players on each team. But matching me directly by my skill level is not something I want. I personally loved Call of Duty Cold War but being matched to play against literal pros every single match was terrible and just turned every lobby into a match where every player was a sweaty tryhard, which is the exact opposite of what we want Enlisted to be.
Punishes being good. Incentivizes bad gameplay so that you dont get your skull smashed in by people playing in the worst way possible. Leanspamming, cheating, camping, using the most OP stuff they can get their grubby mitts on. No fucking thank you.
SBMM is a horrid idea. Please dont even consider this
