Troops won't progress past level 2 (2 stars)

Why my troops won’t progress above level 2 (2 stars) even tho i have the upgrade for them to reach level 5 (5 stars)?

This soldier is currently limited to 2 stars. You can group 3 of the same two star soldiers, send them to Academy, lose 2 of them and get back one of them at 2+1 stars.

Or you can be lucky with your troop orders and receive someone with 3 or more (empty) stars, and level up them to their untrained maximum.

Oh! So the upgrade actually enables level 5 THROUGH academy! I get it now :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks guys!

If a soldier comes as level 2 for example. It will stay like that forever. The leveling you do, is to unlock perks for that specific soldier.

The only way to progress beyond level 2. Is to get 3 soldiers of level 2 and send all of them in academy. You will lose two of them in the process and one will come back as upgraded to level 3.

You want a level 4? You repeat the process, add 3 level 3s into academy and only one comes back as level 4.

You cannot get max level of a soldier (or weapon) just by playing, just like any other game 99% of the games out there. Because the developers want you to spend $ in the shop to buy extra soldiers. It happens when you can’t make a game good enough so have to come up with hyena tactics to make a profit.

Sorry I lost you here. 99% of games are from hyena tactics developers? Or it’s hyena tactics to get profit? Or do I need to do anything else but playing to get troop orders???

Battle Pass gives you orders too have fun figuring this out how …

Uh yes, you can - 3 level 4’s to make a level 5 - just like all the other level-ups.

Sure it takes time - but I now have multiple level 5’s without doing anything except using the academy.
