Hello, I am a new player asking for advice.
I am confused by the new Trooper II class I unlocked with the last campaign stage. Does it bring any advantage over the standard Trooper class? Should I play the new squad that develops the new class, or can I go on with my old squad, which by now is fully developed and has some strong (four star) soldiers?

Not really much difference just an extra speed perk i think … but here’s the thing … now that they are unlocked you pretty much have to level them up because every time you roll for a random soldier you have a good chance to getting these rank 2 troops.
And if you don’t level them up they just hang around and take up space where as if you level them up then you can use them to fill infantry slots in any squad …
However if you don’t play the academy game then no they are not much different than rank 1 troops
you should play class 2 it’s basically X2 stronger than class 1.
1 or 2 class 2 soldiers only not worth it but all you troopers being class 2 is very stronk
I stand corrected, if you go to the campaign description and click on trooper 2 class it will tell you how they are different from the regular trooper 1 soldiers
No to strong i think wen the veterenacy is addes they become op but for now they dye normally
They don’t become suddenly rambo for sure but have better heal,better speed and better gun use.
When your troopers are all class 2 it makes the difference in the field.
It takes a long time to get there but it’s deadly at the end.

I have t2 really i not see to much difference from t1 the ai sadly remain to dumb to see this improvements

It becomes better in your hand only for sure.

One would hope that a new tier of troops, although better, would NOT suddenly make tier 1 veterans with 5 stars obsolete.

We already have some tier3 squads now. A sniper squad in normandy?
Also, up to tier 5 is coming.

Class 3 Maximum is enough from my point of view
Tier isnt really does much. But rank is more important.
What about rank 6?

2 out of 3 trooper II eventually gets vitality at level 5 compared to 1 out of 3 for trooper I.
I also understand that I won’t be able to upgrade the weapon (kar98 with grenade launcher in Moscow) if I do not play the new Trooper II squad.
Indeed - that is one of the evil and pernicious things they do with the new squads 
That is one of the reasons to play every squad until they are maxed out.
