These are interesting tbh I have never seen one before I will search it up later
Have these even seen combat? I’ve never seen these before and they give the same vibe as a cursed gun image.
I heard that the bt 7 was able to drive without tracks. It would be nice feature in this game
Is there benefit to tire vs track? These Bad Piggies looking vehicles (minus the BT-7 which still throws me for a loop) can’t have the best of both worlds right?
I dont know the benefits but i think it would be cool to be able to drive when your tracks get broken
The Christie convertibles family (BT and T-34) both were originally designed to have removable tracks and the front wheels would have steering.
The track designs of 1930s were very unreliable and track issues were the problem engineers wanted to avoid, only putting them on when necessary.
However, real combat conditions and the cost of the steering system, as well as improvements in track designs by 1940 led to the idea of convertible tanks being dropped.
Iirc no convertible models were used iin WW2.
Damn.
the advantage would be speed and range as tires are better than tank tracks
for those but imagine a king Tiger with wheels
No thanks.
