Top classes noobs love to pick

I may get real spicy on this despite I’m not gonna count the trooper squad for a good reason since everyone including veterans can use it like I do with the event trooper squad in Pacific. Being listed here doesn’t mean the class is bad or dead weight but the problem is noobs love to use them and fail to help the team that would result in a shitty way of getting a defeat and it happens alot especially on campaigns and factions they think its easy mode like Moscow or Berlin Soviet.

  1. Sniper - the top class noobs love to spawn every time even worse with the first spawn being this. Sure there are situations where some snipers would help those who are fighting for the objective but there are more snipers that only camp behind and not helping than good ones.
  2. Tanker - Mostly starter ones like it’s annoying to see starters especially T-60s and T-70s all the time when the enemy has better, high level tanks. I even see people fail real hard with the starter T-34-85 to the point that I have to deal with Panthers and Tigers myself with my own T-34-85 if the noobs didn’t hog the tank slots like learn how to shoot HE on the windows to help the attackers FFS. Free xp pinatas on the other hand especially in Moscow with a T-34 and Normandy with a Tiger.
  3. Engineer - Not the worst offender like the other two but I have seen idiots build any other stupid shit like barbed wire or tank traps everywhere including our own path to the objective but not a single rally point or an ammo box.

Dishonorable mention: Molotovs - Its very annoying to deal with noob teammates not properly throwing molotovs like throwing them on pathways especially when attacking at the objective like its better to use grenades instead of burning your own teammates with that.

Sure everyone was a noob at some point and to be fair for those who are willing to learn the tactics of the game can learn them through playing and learning from the veterans but the problem in Enlisted is that majority of the noobs will never learn to the point that I have to call this out as it pisses veterans off where noob teams would be deserted by them or veterans would stomp them with all the top level equipment and squads at their disposal.

With the ranks going to reset soon, its going to be a rough ride all over again fighting not just the enemy but also bad teammates trying to lose the match.

Atleast assaulter and flamethrowers try to push unlike snipers that camp at the back like that Goebbels Villa building unless the one using is an idiot that also camp behind like a sniper.

It depends on the player, snipers can help alot. Going into meat grinder isn’t the only thing to do.

assaulters maybe…

But I stoped counting how many times I, and our entire caping team, got burnt by a friendly flamer too trigger happy…

Welp i don’t mind the new players messing up when playing random classes, but i do mind when they don’t provide the support with the class they picked and i get it, when it’s a very competetive battle you might not have time to make the best decisions but you’ve gotta focus on the main advantages of the class. The engis more often than not decide the battle with a single rally point and if you see there are 4 placed in a semi circle around the target, you know you’re gonna win due to the sheer amount of bodies flying towards the objective.
But sometimes you’re the only one that has to be responsible for everything, it’s annoying to be trying to find a good spot for a rally, provide the team with more ammo, give them some cover , provide area denial and try destroying enemy rallies all at the same time in the middle of a hotzone. But that’s what happens sometimes and the more you pick up the slack the less burdened the newbies are, who knows they might even learn a few tactics from you. After all a weapon is a weapon it might not be the most effective in a noob’s hands, but it’ll still get rid of enemies if properly supported

When I face a team that turns to sniping, I consider it a wave of the white flag. In this game I cannot be convinced snipers play any factor UNLESS they have excellent marks for bombs, planes and artillery. Good marks can be game changing, probably second to multiple rallies

Too many snipers is bad, but one good sniper who reliably does one or more of the following:

  • Knocks out anyone getting close to your team’s tank
  • Snipes the player controlled soldiers from a squad
  • Looks for enemy snipers
  • Looks to the edges for any cheeky flankers
  • Actively looks for and snipes rallies and engineers
    Can be a godsend

Also cant forget the starting squad is always a sniper and riflemen. Of course new people will use snipers.

I only ever pick sniper squad first because its only 3 people, a sniper, an at, and an engi. i sneak into the lines, set up a rally. then i begin to work any enemy armour i can work on. if not, ill start picking them off while looking for spawns coming into rallies so i can mark those for planes.

Engeneer should be part of the first starting squad not sniper … it makes veteran hates the noobs even more cause you know sniper beginner are 99.6% totally useless campers.

Those are morelike newbies, I hate how the game makes you feel at the beggining, that you have to advance with passive-offense behaviour when in reality the 90% best strategy is to mindless rushing the point. There were like really few times enemies advanced with slow pace sucesfully, most of the times though they get wiped-out due to defenders spawning points being just 40m behind the point with just 10s to respawn. There is just no sense to advance slow, and that’s what newbies are getting to know. And I hate it so much, i was one of them at the beggining, thinking to myself how wonderful is the feeling when playing thinkful and strategic.

I only use sniper squads to get on deep flanks and hit the enemy as they’re trying to make their way to the point. Even if I don’t get the whole squad, my friendlies on the point will mop up whatever remains. This requires a lot of risk and also puts me in a position where I run into enemy flankers and have to deal with them. I don’t like sitting behind the point with a sniper squad. You can get more kills pushing forward then stay behind.
