We tested the ticket drain according to patch notes (link) on conquest game mode and noticed that games now last around 7-10 min, which is just silly.
A few months ago developers implemented good changes to conquest by increasing the total amount of tickets which made conquest viable/playable, since players previously couldn’t get any exp from conquest because of the extremely short duration of the match. This made matches worthwhile of playing since now you could still get some xp/silver from it and, seemingly, the desertion rates dropped.
By introducing the proposed changes from the patch notes, on test server we noticed the ticket drain for losing soldiers now doubled (from 0.5 per soldier to 1 per soldier), which makes conquest games last for approx. 7-10 min again, and effectively nullifying good changes made a few months ago.
It makes no sense how developers are afraid of decreasing the timer for capping the objective on invasion gamemode from 20 (their current proposal) to e.g. 15 min , since it won’t make any noticeable difference because the ticket drain is still faster, but they see no issue with decreasing the duration of conquest games by 30-50%. Please, consider canceling the increase the ticket drain for conquest and decreasing per-cap timer for invasion to 15 min instead of 20.
