In terms of variety it is nice to have the explosives we are given, in terms of amount we are given to many! When you’re playing in a match full of players not ai, especially popular matches the amount of explosives are insane! Players are dropping mortars, AI mortars, air strikes, AI air strikes and ect explosives from many other sources on their own units because there is no repercussions besides a slight camera shake to their own ally units! Playing as an infantry unit is inconceivable as over half your squad is blow up within seconds of spawning in more often than not from my personal experiences! Please reconsider this and create a more playable environment for the infantry, such as limiting the amount of certain explosives and lengthening the cooldowns from AI explosive orders!
It’s a war game, what do you expect. I think everything is fine as is
number of explosives per meter is too much. but ary cooldown is not very small already
YOU forgot rockets
game is mostly in good condition currently unless you have stacked tryhards on both teams. also if you suffered ptsp from all the concussions last year, game is currently in very good condition…
As I’ve stated before and will again, there needs to be adequate protection offered by the use of trenches and fortifications.
The sheer amount of explosives used wouldn’t be as extreme if it wasn’t as effective. For this to be the case, there needs to be a few changes:
-
All campaigns need player dug trench depth to be equal to what Normandy is.
-
AI need to prioritize using trenches and cover when moving.
-
Sandbag walls need to be considerably more resistant, primarily against explosive FRAGMENTATION.
-
Fortifications, especially DEFENSIVE fortifications (sandbag walls, barbwire, and Czech Hedgehogs) should not be able to be “deconstructed” except by engineers and soldiers using “TOOLKIT” consumables.
-
- The reason this makes such a big difference in regards to the primary topic is that by doing it this way, the infantry will need to make a choice between taking grenade pouches, or a backpack with extra toolkits and meds.
Even if they try to bypass it by using engineers with grenade pouches, those engineers don’t have access to the SMGs and MGs that other classes do.
- The reason this makes such a big difference in regards to the primary topic is that by doing it this way, the infantry will need to make a choice between taking grenade pouches, or a backpack with extra toolkits and meds.
Additionally, it will mean that more of the explosive firepower that is currently aimed at killing infantry will be instead used to help push through fortifications.
Overall, it helps reduce explosive effectiveness and spam while bringing some balance back to the game, without even needing to add friendly fire back in.
Rockets / AP Mine Spam / Mortars / Air Strike / impact granade spam
its such a mess to play I agree but everyone hopes on better balance in the future.
Its the reason why we got on both sides bot lobby´s. Newcommers thinking they play Battlefront 2
I totally agree
This game doesn’t look like an FPS game, it’s more like Worms
I know that the proportion of explosives in a war will be very large, and the battlefield is always full of all kinds of explosives
But come on, this is a game not a real battlefield, what I want is an FPS experience, not being blown to pieces by dynamite coming out of nowhere
this is so confusing
I would like to see more grenade types on enlisted.
I can count with my fingers the number of matches that the explosions were too much over 5600 battles.
It’s rare that something its abused to a point I feel discomfort playing.
Imo. Ofc
I’m very curious what will happen if enable friendly damage in a situation like this
Game chat is going to explode too lol
Easy acces to explosives + dumb AI that can’t take cover and often bunches up = poor exerience.
Unless you don’t care about your AI. Then explosios are not any worse than in other games.
what the fuck are you talking about
The role of the forum is that players can feedback different opinions, good or bad. If you like dictatorships, you shouldn’t be using forums
Also do you like explosives? ok i don’t mind blowing the shit out of you with 27 grenades
I’ve used tons of versions of the damn dynamite last year, from dynamite packs to grenades to Molotov cocktails or white phosphorus grenades
Every day every round is like a monkey throwing bananas not a soldier on the battlefield
Guns are useless against so many explosives, not even for self-defense, because when I’m done throwing one soldier’s grenade I can switch to the next one, and when I’m done throwing these damn grenades, I’ll choose Let them die and then move on to the next team and continue throwing grenades.
But one day I got bored and I found out that this is an FPS, not a shot put game
This kind of gameplay is not healthy for the game. No one likes to be killed by a grenade falling from the sky before they can figure out what’s going on.
If you like being a shot put monkey all the time, then you should shut up and carry on, because now is exactly what you want.
Its not your dream cuddlerock greyzone tanker game?!
I remember closed tests. And how they introduced the radio operator.
Too many explosions? Then there were a lot of explosions.
20 artillery strikes at once. Then 4 minutes of calm and again 20 artillery strikes.
It was a game, not a kindergarten like now.
Man I honestly really missed those days. As crazy as it was, it made the radioman fun instead of the shared timer we have now
enjoy your spam
If you have memory, Asian players are more likely to use explosives
Enjoy while they blow the shit out of you with these spam
The only time I suffer obscene amounts of explosives spam is oddly enough in Moscow.
if not grenades how do you flush people hiding in the corner of building with a wall to there back, give them a smg and without a grenade you can loose half a squad
