The problem is the constant bomber spam not the counters.
there wonât be constant bomber spam if we get 200-400 points for each plane down. when there is a bomber, you will see 2 fighters behind him and he canât bomb more than 1 time
(of course fix planes armour)
First of all each team can have 1 fighter in the air
Second, there are 10+ players in each team. Every single one of them has at least one bomber squad which can spam in unlimited number. So yeah even being able to make only one bombing run per spawn, the bombersâ spam will still be there, no change to that.
then, remove the possibility of just 1 fighter per team. 2 fighters at the same time or 1 bomber and 1 fighter.
2 fighters flying and no bomber on the air, believe me. Ah, and in EEUU, we get A-20 at level 20 (not sure his level, but we donât get bombers earlier) but all we get fighters at super low level.
So everybody will have the possibility to take their fighters to kill bombers, but not everyone has bombers.
Again the issue is the availability for constant bomber spam. Even having 4-5 fighters wont change that since one will join a bombers suicide-bomb, then another one spawns on a bomber doing the same, and so on. I dont get why this issue is so hard to understand for some people. Also being forced to play a fighter for just to counter the bomber cancer in an infantry focused game is just ridiculous. And finally only USA gets a bomber at high levels, every other nation in every other campaign get one below level 10

- AA guns takes too much time to Build (i dont even build them anymore, they are worthless)
- AA guns transverse speed is too slow against the moving planes.
- AA guns have litle to no Ammo in them (a solution would be more ammo but unability to aim at foot soldiers â less vertical sight.
- AA gun power/damage output is too low comparing to the sponges with wings hp.
- we cant, or have any means to stop a fresh spawned plane to bomb a target. its literaly impossible to kill a fresh spawn plane befor he reaches batlefield area and drop a bomb. even if it kills himself after.
- we are unable to command a bot, to Man the AA gun and stay there shooting at any target that aproaches his sight.
- no AA guns pre built on the maps.
- again Prebuilt AA weapons could be set as default around the map, and have a group of bots commanding each one of them without control of a player. they would man the machines and fire them with any sort of accuracy. kinda like a mission on warthunder where ground bots try to defend themselfs.
we could Test:

Normal spawns shall be on a area behind friendly lines, not a 1 or 2 fixed point(s). after a player choosed to spawn on normal spawns, we would be placed on a random area around the friendly area always behind some sort of cover

A player that bring more than 1 squad of planes, can only play with 1 per 6 spawns, limiting the usage of them on the batlefield, and when he use one, he have to fly it to avoid a death. right now i have 5 plane squads in berlin (as an example) 3 of them have any sort of bomb payload, i can simply spawn - bomb - die - repeat. And i do it from times to times.

Bots on defencive side maning pre-built AA guns on the maps and all match they look at the skys and defend them.(they cant be controled by Humans, and once death they are out.
Also:
- Avoid capture zones on open fields
- Avoid map design to have the same routes as familiar ones, and design maps that utilize the map usage more, to avoid choke points and common used routes, to avoid bombing runs as current. - Part of this comes from default spawn locations, that can be learned in 1 match.
you forget an important point is that many drop their rocket or their bombs and crash right after, so do that if a plane they have chosen is destroyed and they can no longer use it until the end of the party, it will already be a plane that we will not see anymore.
then must not forget that all the players are not premium, so they have a choice to make between 1 tank or a plane, so no that does not make 10 players with airplanes, i also have friends in game that donât play vehicle by gameplay choice. On the other hand, yes we see guys spamming the dead just to get their planes back so we have the impression that there are a lot of planes.
impose only one plane per player whereas if he has paid slots to use them it is his choice, he can use these 4 planes if he wants, however the system that he can use only once is already no longer supposed
However, a redesign should be put in place, a player who drops these bombs and crashes right after, one will no longer be able to get out of the plane even if it is not in the same category, because suicide bombers for kills is very toxic.
hunters who kill only bots no longer receive a score, the score can be earned only if it kills planes or tanks at a pinch.
on the other hand if he kills a plane or a tank with his hunters, the score is doubled or even tripled to replace the lack of score linked to having killed bots on the ground, some might say that this could not make up for the shortfall in score, but there are so many planes in party that its score precisely risks exploding to kill only planes.
when with bombers, the bombers which farm the fixed spawn and this happens often, should not receive a score,
suicide bombers too, so gaijin set up that if he uses the suicide command he does not get their score, however it does not work on suicide bombers which are a real plague in the game, so built in a timer that if the plane spawns, drops the bombs and crashes it does not receive any score, it must survive a minimum of 2 minutes !! to prevent suicide bombers.
Then review the structure of certain planes, for example the il2 which once 5 stars, continues to fly after 3 fires !!! this is not normal, or that a biplane enters a plane, kills the fighter or bombers and continues to fly as if nothing was, at what gaijin moment it is said that a biplane was so resistant !!
I play the 3 campaigns, and the biggest airplane spammers, are the German players of the Normandy campaign, they have the gold palm for abusive airplane spam!

Sitting in aa just mean there is one player less to play actual objective. Ofcourse there is also enemy plane that uses one player but when bomber drop his bombs atleast it will have impact on enemy team. Typically huge one
Also shooting down plane AFTER bombs are dropped and exploded is already too late. Objective is already wiped from enemies. At that point i typicaly just hit esc â suicide unless there is enemy plane positioned way i can just shoot his arse
Ironically i have shot down more enemy planes when suicide bombing then chasing them with fighter.
Last time i chased bomber who was going to resuply i used all my autocannon rounds and only managed to make bomber smoke. That smoke only obscured my vision, bomber was able to continue flight straight line to supplypoint, make 180 degree turn and drop his bombs, at that point i just give up cause obviously those machineguns i have left didnt have any impact to enemy plane
Best thing about shooting enemy bomber down is that it actualy might just INCREASE amount of bombs dropped to battlefield. Cause sometimes those pilots just refuse to suicide, theu just selfishly take that slot and waste time for resupply instead letting everyone doing airstrike in less then 20secs
Yeah I agree with you sitting on a AA is pretty annoying, itâs like you are wasting time but the fighters are terribly good to down bombers, the thing is you need to learn how to play fighter but after that they can literally do nothing.
Usually in my games when I see an annoying bomber I take the fighter, kill him easily and lurk in the air till another one is coming, you can be sure after that they wonât take a bomber again
They added tanks why not just add a few AA vehicles to the game⌠Seems like a good fix.
Not like the AA platforms at the time were super armored.
