To make the RD-44 in the drain damage is 12.0, and in the top 13.2 as in all Soviet machine guns of 7.62 caliber

Why does he have 9.0 damage in the drain, and 9.9 in full pumping? in general, nothing, even a stock DP-27 with the same caliber 7.62 damage 12.0, pumped RD-44 and changed to DT-29 full, very much regretted

DP-27 is 7.62x54r (the same round used in Mosin rifles) it is a full-power rifle cartridge

RD-44 is 7.62x39 (same round used in RPD, AK-47) It is a intermidiate cartridge

so why should an LMG firing AK rounds do as match damage as mosin rounds?

OP probably wanna use the same “main” logic kind that dictates that a Fedorov should have hidden recoil modifiers effectively giving the same recoil as an stg

If its the RP-46 which is the belt fed version of the DPM okay same damage since they use the same 7.62x54mmR but it was beyond the coverage of the Berlin campaign where the war was already over when it came out.

RD-44 along with the AS-44 uses the smaller 7.62x39mm much like the STG uses 7.92x33mm instead of the 7.92x57mm.

well, why is it needed then? the Germans have an aviation bullet with eggs, the damage is like ordinary mg and the rate of fire is 1200, the rd is not even a competitor to him, then it should be instead of dp, the full pumped rd is worse than the stock dp in everything absolutely, which opens at the beginning of the campaign, which rd 37 level, it’s not worth it, and if we talk about the assault rifle, the same Fedorov is cooler and more lethal in everything than a machine gun for a minute, the same AVT-40 is also better in everything, even in stock, both of these weapons are better than the RD-44 full pumped

again it’s a 7.62 soviet not 7.62R and in this image you see how 7.62 soviet compares to 7.62R and 7.62 tokarev so it should do less damage than full powered rifle rounds like 7.62R, .30-06, .303 british and 7.92 mauser

We are not even in the level of 5.45x39mm yet but imagine Enlisted with some people going to cry about the strong damage of the AK-74 despite the 5.45x39mm is known to be more lethal than the 7.62x39mm.

Yeah the picture says it all regarding the 3 Soviet 7.62mms in WWII.

Have you tried the MG15 though? It’s got only 75rounds for 1.3k rpm, it can’t even fire for 1s continually. It’s also the only gun to gain dispersion with every shot.

Case in point, I think the MG15 is just as trash as the rd44

I have tested some RD-44s with full upgrades myself where I find it best to use on tight corridors or with a bipod deployed with the MG spread being the problem which also applies to other MGs as well even with the run, crouch and shoot maneuver like I always do is a bit tricky unlike DPM and DT-29. The MG is not even firing a full powered rifle cartridge but has the same spread or worse as MG34.

it would probably be about 9 damage same with 5.56 nato

Reichophile with dumbtrommel and Fg 42 2 barks about “main logics”. How ironic

Maybe because it doesn’t have literally any pluses and behaves like heavy SMG, not MG?

Nice to see that rd44 is good enough to play over other mgs, but still a trash recoil mess that was on alpha.

Lmao

Nice to see sausages don’t have such minuses. Probably SUFFA issue

At any rate, the only thing that could be improved on rd, and all mgs, is less unreal dispersion.

Either way, rg44 is good as It is, and doesn’t need a buff or nerf on power.

Just dispersion changes

Dispersion moment is kinda agreed on but still when you spit paper like with PPSh having laser beam from FG in return, it doesn’t look neither historical nor balanced. And this is if not mention shitty vehicle balance

again it’s firing 7.62 soviet not 7.62R. for refence here is 7.62 soviet, used by AK and RD-44, in the center, to the left of it is 7.62R used by DT-29 and Mosins, and to the right is 7.62 tokarev which is used for PPSH and PPDs

Still if it doesn’t get some unbelievable accuracy and stability, it’s simply overfed SMG. Guns need to have some really strong pluses to compensate damage or accuracy. MGs have damage and big belts/mags.

The guy is a soviet lover i bet he have a tatoo of stalin with a heart
