To increase players who play the objective


Most of the players seems to not contribute on defense or attacking of an objective.
I propose some solutions to increase players that actually play the objective.

  1. Give the people who don’t defend the objective a 0.5x exp multiplier
  2. Give the winning or a losing team’s first player to punish those players who they deemed useless. This punishment maybe in a form of not allowing said useless player to gain exp
  3. Give a more in depth tutorial on how to play the game, the engineer tutorial is a good start.
  4. Bad players will go against full stack squads so they may understand basic game concepts on themselves.

No matter what you do, I will never play the objective in it’s current form. Run and gun grenade spam is boring and I see no reason to participate in it.

And this is straight up bullshit prone to being abused (for example to prevent 2nd best player from overtaking your score).

When I am alone in the cap, I sometimes write in chat “FREE PIZZA IN THE CAP” or “HOT CHICKS IN THE CAP” but that does not seem to work.

just to get naded and bombed all over the place ?

nah for me.

i mostly don’t play the objective cuz i prefer to drain the enemy tickets and make them lose time while they try to attack or defend from the flanks to create distraction.

mostly works for me.

i don’t see why i should get penalized for making the attackers or defenders not reach the objective in the first place.

Because, there’s simply not much reward to play for it.
Only +50 SCORE? Also if you die before you captured sector, you get almost nothing.
While staying outside, camping, each kill can give you+30 score. And it’s much easy to get some scores outside cap zone.
While other games, capture a point, or even just staying inside to and letting progression bar moves, game will reward player dozens or even hundreds scores.

Also Destruction is a joke.
Whole setting bombs takes ages and lots of difficulty, but only reward you few scores. And disarm bombs gives ZERO SCORES!

This makes sense in defending, of course. I try to make a defense in depth (defend while staying in front of the objective) or at the flanks.
But if you are attacking there is hardly any other choice than staying in the cap zone.

you can cut off reinforcements that are trying to reinforce the objective,

take out the flankers of the defenders so that you make the battlefield a bit more thin and dont get the main forces blasted from every direction,

and last but not least, flank them to create rally points and divide the main forces to give more chances.
( heck, even clear their rally point and engineers. (

never failed me this tactic to be honest.
( unless defenders pull up a stif resistance with full autos and gray tankers. )

So true, Grenade spam is a shit strategy but at the same time it makes my pepe big.

They kind of nerf the det pack as you now can only buy it with silver order.
For me they should nerf the radius on infantry.

Yeah about that, I don’t mind players who cut off the enemy reinforcements. I need to rephrase my statement above. But what I deem useless are mostly plane hoggers that don’t get infantry or vehicle kills or those who just stay and snipe for the whole duration of the match.

Yeah this one is an issue too, the only incentives to winning and playing the objective is merely a 1.5x multiplier. I agree that bomb plating/detonation/defusal or capturing strategic points should give more exp.

There are totally no bot squads or anything on fresh capture points, definitely not easy to just throw explosive pack or mow them down with smg, really not worth 45xp per kill

Basically the amount of points you get for capturing or defending an objective should be increased

I suggest, increasing all exp about cap e.g. engine and cap kill, and decrease just normal kill. I sometimes feel AI more helpful because al least they rush to objective, while humans are just sitting 100m away from objective and contribute nothing.

This + the whole mechanic sucks.

You cap 99% of the point solo, die in last second, someone else will get more xp, and full cap (that counts towards battlepass taks, while Your 99% won’t)

In conquest fighting to defend point makes no sense, blocking enemy from capping may win game, but will net 0 score.

And 50 xp is joke itself

all you wussies in here. Thick smoke, blood and bangs are part of war so suck it in and face death in the eyes! Protect that damn objective! I run in there even as an sniper if i see its not working out prop or i quit if i see no one wants to play the game as a team on their own terms ^^ Why waste time if theres another good game around the corner where people are hungry to fight for their pixels at home

But yeah they should have an point ticker instead like in war thunder irrc. Where you get points for ever second you cap. You can get points at times when you die, sometimes not

Interesting suggestion, the rest is trash. This, in addition to the 20% bonus for the first place, will help to form a healthy competitive intra-team fight. I would make it so that the “leader” of each team could, in the post-battle window, nominate two “champions” who, in his opinion, deserve +2 bronze orders.

This way, the best players would have the discretion to reward good engineers, or those who made a decisive contribution, but did not receive “Battle Heroes”.
