As weeks of grinding Tunis both Allies and Axis from LV25 to LV29. I have had enough of this campaign.
Too large maps(missons), less combat intensity:
It’s relative too large maps, diluting the combat intensity. Also due to too far spawnpoint, and map vehicle is either being used as disposable, and CAMP LV9’s engineer, giving more reason not to build rallypoint. Further making this campaign’s combat less intense, more boring.
Someone may like “walk simulator”. I too play lots of realism FPS games. But dont forget those games, it’s more HUMAN players, human have brains, and they flank. So maps even though relative empty, but players maybe everywhere. But in Enlisted, only 10x2 humans. Creating LOTS OF GAPS in maps. So you may walk 100~200m without even seeing any enemy!
And even worse, AI will have to use the default spawnpoint. And they often moves slower than human players! So even less AI to kills!
This also create Tunis match always get way less XP per minute! Because you can’t kill someone as often as other campaign.
Possible fix:
Increase the player count for larger maps/missions!
10vs10 maybe enough for map like Moscow
Look at the scale of the map. How far separate each sectors are.
So for Tunis, and all upcoming larger maps, increase player count! To 13~15 each side.
Also make AI use human’s rallypoint if possible. (make AI come closer and quicker to front)
For lack of players
Actually its dev’s multiple problems:
Duplicate unlocks. Grind same thing again. See all other thread complain about this.
This campaign come out too late for veterans (who do not buy premiums). Especially those players whose grinding speed isnt that fast. So they havent completed previous campaigns. No desire to grind another campaign!
Poor start… They failed on attracting players at the beginning of this campaign. The poor motorcycle premiums… The unbalanced start (Allies kept winning)… I believe they have data of how many player still playing Tunis and buying Tunis new premiums…
Player’s side:
Tunis really lack attraction to many players across the world. North African front is relative a quiet topic.
Not many players get to late stage campaign levels in Tunis so less powerful equipment than other campaigns. Refuse to switch campaigns and still prefer former campaigns for better equipment.
Possible fix:
Possible another event. Send players some XP booster of Tunis only, like the beginning of Tunis.
How much its multiplier added dont matter, 10~25% is enough. But the time length matters! Give 1~4 weeks of Boosters, let players come back and play, also let them catch up with their all campaign’s progression. Let players know there’s a Tunis campaign.
Dealing with map distances? That is what engineers are for… the only reason why that might be issue for some people is the late engineer unlock.
Move that, and the problem is solved… If not, then that is a problem with players having their brains eaten by CQC fiestas.
I wouldn´t really say that those maps are literal walking simulator anyway.
As for lower exp gain… well… slower paced campaigns tend to do that I guess. I´m totally fine with it, the only problem on this part are copy pasted weapons. But that is not a problem of Tunisia only and cannot be addressed by turning it into a mess seen in other campaigns, where sometimes you spawn even 100 meters away from combat only to compensate for it.
In fact, suggestions that would make grind of copy pasted weapons easier are way better solution for that situation.
Here is a good example from our Italian guru @gastanofrizzi
Not saying i want to be intolerant towards players favouring play style that does not suit me, but I believe that each campaign should at least somewhat retain pace that makes it unique
That is actually solid idea, but I don´t think it will happen… just like random queues not really rewarding people playing all sides to keep matchmaker somewhat happy.
Why are you complaining about respawns when you can simply utilize rally points? I don’t agree with the maps being too large either. If anything, I wish the Berlin and Moscow maps were larger like Tunisia. We need larger maps such as Tunisia so this game doesn’t become a fast-paced zerg fest like COD, but I do agree with increasing the players per each game. They should make larger maps with less grey zone and more players imo.
Boring new features (digging and bikes), copy paste arsenals (and maybe wrong setting at all), late engie level for the ten tactical players and fighters without effecient Air-to-Ground weapons…
Africa could be so much more but rn its better Moscow with German Moscow and Allied Normandy guns.
Go and play Tunis and see what’s real situation there.
I am the one that complains a lot about this.
Nothing changed.
Do you still think “Ahh, more rallypoint solved the issue”?

Also, do you think rallypoint can do anything to a near pure BOTs team?
But due to too empty map, way too long spawn distance. The match’s majority–AI, is behaving poorly now. If the map and spawn still this kind of poor. Fewer players will play this campaign.
Also those “walking simulator” is a very different rewarding system. There, as long as you kill 1~2 per life, that’s enough. Kill isnt a major task there. But is to cooperate with team. Play with strategy.
But here, in Enlisted, this game is design towards arcade, still with some limited realism. So too empty match/map will cause players having nothing to do. Cooperation is so limited here. Also the killing reward isnt that high. But for those games, killing 1~3 per life is pretty rewarding.
please fix the spawn camping shield i go in to kill the spawn camping snipers and tanks to get a shilded mark but thay can kill us and the other thing is that we attack and the defending team can only see us but we cant see them since thay camp in the darkend part of the map and by the time i get there my squad is dead from the fog and 1 man for 5sec agenst there camping army i had great time playing all maps and the balance is great and love your work on all of the game keep it up!!
other note could u pleas get the plane fix promiss we need the tail gunners and yes the planes are fragile not tanks so the plane can take a beating and tankcan get killed by at squad tnt pack other tanks will a plane can only be killed by plane please give a plane a heads up marker on where we ground crew can shoot to have a chance to shot down plane!
Are your suggesting you want to be able to spawn camp? There’s no justifiable reason for you to run into a spawn point and kill people before they have a chance to orient themselves.
There are alternative ways to handle snipers shooting from the gray zone, which honestly isn’t much of a problem that I’ve seen
Personally I like larger and more open maps of Tunisia. Some of them work better than others (and some game modes are pretty painful), but larger maps by themselves are a good thing. I also think that African theater of war is an interesting one - it’s unique, large, varied, and isn’t covered in games all that often.
Bot and progression issues are serious, but they are a separate matter.
Very different oppionion here. I only play Tunis, cause it is the only campaign providing some room for maneuvering and giving tanks/rally points a use.
All other campaigns are literally “fight in a room” FPS maps, where every ground vehicle spawned is a liability not an asset.
I would even argue than on many Tunisia Maps the grey zone needs to extend a little more, as very often the grey zones artificially prevents you from reaching a solid position or make a proper flanking move.
In my experience Tunisia matches are won by engineers and use of rally points. Side that places better and more will handle map size better and therefore troop flow to capture/detonate points. Play tunisia without engineers and you are usually done.
In many matches you see high kill count player constantly cry for rally points, cause they don’t bring one themselfes. Demonstrating that don’t know shit about that campaign. In my setup each squad has a rally point, so i always can place one new if either point is captured/lost or RP is lost.
If anything make other campaigns more like Tunisia, cause that COD style mini map gameplay is boring as hell and done way better by other FPS titles.
Maybe should add, issue with Tunisia is more how on some maps visibility is artificiall limited by fog/dust. Which contradicts the point of having larger maps.
Also player count overall is an issue, combine that with the very lengthy grind and people will simply stay where they have the most fun and most advanced equipment.
Another thing is that with the different campaign styles, Enlistted targets/attracts different player types. It is unlikely that someone that likes to play close quarters normandy/berlin style likes to play more open desert style maps. Which even further thins out possible player count per campaign.
Enlisted suffers from many of the same issues WT has. Grind, target audience, proper design towards the intended gameplay style.
