I was in a game (the first one in a while actually) with Soviets. Correction, not Soviets, TMNT, because half of the team was using the stupid armour. I can live with superior weaponry, but body armour is a bias too far. It’s time the devs remove all effects of body armour, since at the end of the day, it’s just a cosmetic.
In Tunisia, if I equip shorts, I don’t get extra stamina because my soldier is immune to heatstroke. So either give them damage reduction, but with heavy mobility penalties (like an MG), or just keep body armour as a cosmetic with no attributes whatsoever.
It looks like the enemy pushed heavily. Lots of point kills. You had an admirable engineer who tried his best, without any real support aside from yourself. Also, your team had 10 vehicle kills, they got 32.
Feels like you were stacked against.
But also, if you feel someone was cheating, then you know where to report them.
I would rather they wouldn’t. Best case for me (and 90%) of the playerbase would be that they remove all effects of body armour. Worst case is they just add penalties to movement (like BAR run speed) and remove all protection from the back (since armour doesn’t cover the soldier’s back). I won’t settle for less.
It’s ridiculous, it took like 3 shots from my Gewehr 41 to kill some of them. They’re almost as strong as Flametrooper IIs with Vitality. And people want body armour for all factions??
That’s not a bad compromise. However, I’m pretty sure most people rocking turtle suits are veterans with a bunch of silver anyway, so it would only hurt those grinding more.
Fine. But can you show any picture proof of other factions using armour? Unless you can show that to me, and it was standard issue, I won’t agree with you.
Body armour completely ruins the balance of the guns
I do NOT want to see it for other factions
It is a cosmetic item, it should not be providing an advantage, rather just see the 10% damage reduction removed.
Body armor should be cosmetic only. If you give body armor to all factions then everyone is going to be running around looking like the Arditi from WW1.
