Tired of hiding tank under some f tree

I have played four battles in Berlin campaign today. In every single one, my tank was destroyed by kamikaze dive. Like 30s after i got to place where I can actually shot to st. So i wasnt camping long in one place at all.

My thought is, that because this kamikaze culture exist in enlisted, game is rather broken for vehicles and planes (lack of dogfight becouse everyone wants to f crush and die as quickly as possible). As a tanker, I can’t aim , shoot, run away from panzerfausts and explosive packs and also dodge retarded planes at the same time.
Imao there should be penalties for kamikaze actions becouse it shouldnt be such profitable especially as a tactic against armored vehicles.
Save that staff for future Pacific campaign;]
As an alternative give tankers same aiming circle as plane pilots have, to have some chance to fight back.

Yeah, imo if you suicide bomb, you shouldn’t be credited for any of the kills it got you.

Yes it sucks, about the only thing you can do with the tank is try and stay back as far as possible don’t use your main gun anymore than you have to because it draws attention from the air, hug a building, or park under a tree, when I’m flying thing that is the most obvious is the main gun firing but some maps it’s much much easier to spot tanks on then on others, I don’t really get why they have to kamikaze it’s so incredibly easy to drop a bomb on a tank and kill it and live that I don’t really get it, unless they’re extremely emotional and they have to just fly right into you because they don’t have the patience for anything else.

One other especially frustrating element currently is that with the German tanks you can actually fire your main going with high explosive ammunition almost quicker than you can your machine gun because of the cool down time on them, it’s way worse with the German tanks then with the other ones the cooldown timer on the German machine guns is much more punishing that on the Allied tanks

Yeah MG34 magically overheats really easily, yet the cruiser tank can fire for about a solid minute before overheating

yep that is rather f annoying

Dropping bombs requires these bots to be able to control the plane so they dont crash flying away, which apparently exceeds their cognitive capabilities. Maybe they assume that they will crash anyway so they will make kamikaze with a 100% chance of effectiveness. Because kamikaze is ridiculously simple, you don’t have to worry about anything. You simply click space f cking 5m away from your target.

Hey wasn’t that a thing at some point? It used to be like this if I remember well

They changed it back?

Well that won’t change shit.

They suicide bomb to get you out of your tank and don’t care if they get any kills in their stats.

Nah, they do it for the quick and easy kill.
If you’re really that annoying to the point where they had to get in a plane and suicide just to kill you, they should be able to.

They do it to take out a tank.
If they need kills, they suicide into infantry.

Well, i dont think that is the case. For example my tiger did exacly 5 kills before sb decided kamikaze it. I think they would do kamikaze in whatever, but tank is the best option for them. Big target and with much worth for enemy.

Yea but Berlin is a absolute shit campaign super Russian bias which in turn makes all players not care about anything

The respawn point mechanic some of you don’t like. But it is exactly how it works behind the game.

But the current spawnScore system is still very rudimentary, unable to distinguish between unit types and conditions

Looking forward to further updates and refinements of the editor. I will be severely punishing this suicidal behavior in the mission map I make.

I am a plane guy (mostly in Normandy where I have three planes in my line up). Punishing suicide bombers won’t help! I always fly at least two attacks, first attack is 90% of the time a grey zone camping tank, than I resupply and do a second run so I do not have to wait 20 seconds for the next spawn. After the second CAS I just hit ESC and suicide.
True people might stop doing the crashing into the ground and adapt to what I am doing currently, which costs them an additional five seconds tops in the air!

And why do I suicide? Because 70% of the time when I am in the air, the cap doesn’t get capped or defended by my own team so I need to respawn as infantry because otherwise I would lose the match.

For this case

In my map, I also take other measures to prevent the misuse of suicide planes.

One of them is placing the spawn point very far from the battlefield, while the ammo supply point is much closer.

But even with the above measures, I still think the suicide penalty or the cost of deploying the vehicle is necessary.

So ,plane guy, please stop using your planes as missiles, you may be plane guy, but do not become a missle guy.

I like the redeploy area idea or even have a redeploy/repair area, because often I just crash because my wings are damaged and I can’t turn probably anymore or losing height.

Having the spawn point farther than the ammo supply point is also a good idea!

No, cause a tank is easy to spot and gives a lot of points. 5 crew + vehicle destruction, maybe surrounding infantry as well.
Infantry moves and is hard to spot, so you could end up suiciding into 2 dudes.

In the case op is talking about, they do it for the easy kills.
And while it is true some poeple do it just to take out a tank, they wouldn’t do it for one that just spawned. It’d be a filthy greyzones that they have no other way of taking out. And in this instance, they should be able to do that.

Which is why I suggested what I did.
After that, if someone was to suicide into a tank, they’d do it cause it was annoying and blocking their progress, and they have no other way of killing it. Not to get an easy tank kill.

I would be fine with it most of the time I need to suicide bomb to kill a tank bc, I know if I’m not on the point my team will loose it in 0.05 milliseconds
