Tired of carrying everymatch?

People on the forum are good players.
They are invested in the game and know the mechanics to win.
But the other vast majority of player feels like useless NPC.

To open the debate I ask different questons.

  • do you feel like you always need to carry your team?
  • how to improve the learning curve of new player?
  • how often do you break down after realising you are the only one who build raly point, tag tanks, or wait for other people to cap the objective with you?
  • Is drifting with tanks while listening to “DĂ©jĂ -vu”, a good way to relax when your team is useless? What method do you use?

yeaah, it feels like im the only one that carrying my team, having to build rally point or tag tank because they dont give a shit about it (they sometimes do though)

Essentially yes. Many times if I dont build a rally point no one will. If I try to tank or plane for awhile we never seem to advance. Fuck if I dont walk up and physically plant the bomb the 3 other people surrounding it never will. Im really not a super uber good player but man some of the most basic tasks seem to be very challenging for many people.

Its a F2P so I just dont think there is alot to be done about how brain dead people are. One of my suggestions is to move the sniper squad slightly higher and swap it with the engineer. The “I’m a sniper” mindset just leads to camping by new players

*no

*i tell them to go fugg themselves and come back again when they improved (which also can happen during the game after i said it (mostly because it pisses them off), then i say good job as they realized they can do more then they think. Im happy for their sake and they prob look at me with recentment covered in blood screaming witness mee! and what did you do! type of voice line. Its the prize you have to pay

*break down as starting to cry ? dont think that happened…yet. Usually i do that with emotional story games like Zelda, FF and such. How ever after finished Dark souls 2 without any help what so ever for a week i thought i was going insane for some time to add randomly

*Dont get having music on in this game when you get an advantage by reacting to the sound, which is also part of the experience. But sure the music may give you an performance boost however so can see why

i just… just dont understand… how REAL Peoples can do a 27-9, i mean this are 9 COMPLETE Squads.
Or why i got 150 Kills and Place 2 got 50. Dont understand.

I always build rally points (these are still useful for myself, at least), but if I see that the battle cannot be won (e.g. 400 tickets left and only one or two points taken in attack), then I only play for kills or BP tasks, or I take a tank (I do not play tanks much because, if I do, usually very few other players, if any, care about attacking/defending the capzones. And there are sometimes very capable players on tanks, much better than me).

Sometimes an hopeless battle can still be won, but it’s rare.

Yes since i need 1.5 exp buff

No way but other players teaching newbies, devs can’t do shit with it
We need good youtubers

Never, i’m used to since i’m started to play in Berlin on (su)axis side

I’m just taking CAS and having some fun in a airfield

For the questions of OP

  1. I do especially when I see my team not pushing as attackers or not defending the cap as defenders. The feeling of having to enforce Order No.227 most of the time is why I always build rally points near the objective or the flank near the cap while I position near or on the objective depending on the cap and the situation.

  2. A mandatory tutorial for the game modes but I doubt it will work as idiots will still be idiots.

  3. The worst case scenario is I abandon the noobs and make the match their own loss for not cooperating.

  4. Not that particular song though while moving to another match or call it a day for the game when no more daily BP tasks.

This is why I limit myself to daily BP missions nowadays since not much urgent to grind on my part other than some bronze weapon orders to fully upgrade all my main weapons used by my main squads.

need to?

i don’t have to, but i always find my self doing it.

i suppose that’s how we balance the map the " un fun " way.

lots of guides.

as i’m working on one.
problem is, even if you leave the best kit and guides, if the individual does not want to listen, there isn’t much to do.

and on the other hand, how can you blain them.

this game it’s supposed to be played like everyone wants.

i hate people telling me how to play ( mainly because i have many hours i suppose. ) but i do apreciate and take in considerations kind askes or strategies.

on the other hand, as i don’t like being commanded, i don’t see why i should be the one saying the others how to play.

well, i play germany :joy:
they are supposed to lose anyway :joy:

" jokes " aside, i don’t particolarly mind it.
i’m used to do many things by my self.

so if i need a rally, i build one.
if i need a twitchy tank gone, i’ll destroy it.

it’s a good thing that majority of my squads are somewhat universal.

regarding expectation about the others, i wouldn’t say that are low. because occasionally you can find competent teammates. but for the majority, i don’t worry too much. after all, as i said, they do what they can, and want.

being ranty about them solves nothing.

i mean…

i see people too much getting affected by others rather than being the difference.

i dont want to sound the " perfect gamers that accepts the shit ". but what’s the point of throwing or be ANGHY for the whole match?

get your own fun.
mind ya own business.

win or not, next match might be different.

but those are just my two cents…

yes I feel it, almost every time I have to do most of the work and they don’t even reciprocate with a GG in chat, I don’t ask to play with berlin_axis_op clones every game but that at least they know how to build a rallypoint, tag enemies, and shoot, sometimes I start listening the music and I disconnect the audio of the game, I find myself in the first position simply attacking in front and shooting while everyone else has done nothing and are simply camping behind

I only do it if I have some "tofu"

1): Often yes, but it doesnt bother me. Just makes me feel like a field officer of some sort, trying to direct a bunch of greenbacks who just arrived on the field.

2): This is definitely tricky. I have talked and helped players who have asked in chat on how to build rallies and how engineers work, but they seem to always have a hard time getting their head around it. Maybe the engineer tutorial should explain how and why you want to assign engineers to a squad?

3): The main thing that bothers me is the lack of rallies. Its so surprising how few people place them when they are so important and honestly easy to build. Its the only thing that drives me crazy at times.

Lack of tagging, even for tanks while I’m in the air, doesnt bother because I usually can coordinate where they are via the map and their tank shots compared to the objective.

I actually enjoy solo capping, because fighting off hordes of defenders solo successfully is where I get most of my excitement in this game, along with flying. Solo defending is just AIDs though when the entire enemy force is against you while your team does whatever else, but at least I generally get good XP for it so I dont complain too much.

4): If I have given up on a match, I generally just stay in the air as a fighter, and try to practice strafe routes vs infantry. Which is actually netting me some good kills these days.

There should be a a sticky forum post, so we can all post tips, but honestly sometimes, I like to just have fun, I don’t always want to push points, I would prefer to fly or tank, but on the whole I always place initial rally in all games, because if I don’t I see our team loses, mind you I’m on the tough side (Moscow Axis)

The Tutorial for engineer squad is… well…
It feels like the dev who made it was forced to do so by the other member of the team.

"-Vlad, you are late again? I have warned you, now you’ll make a engineer tuto!
-No boss I’m sorry!
-I don’t need excuses, I need code lines."

It’s good there is one at least…

_9 of 10 games
_putting better tutorials and having the game give you tips during battles
_it’s a classic, I’m always the one who builds the brand meeting point and has to go and destroy the typical tank located in the other corner of the literal map, it’s already become a habit, I also carry a phrase with me that I always remember, "if not You do it, who else is going to do it?
_really sometimes I just think why am I putting up with this, but then I remember that I came from dota 2 and I forget
_what methods do I use to win, well… normally I choose the radio operator squad, I bombard the target area and at the same moment I enter to kill all its defenders taking advantage of the fact that they are stunned, in case I realize that they are arriving too fast, I go out and look for the enemy meeting point, destroy it and return attacking from the rear, (by the way, the most common thing is that at that moment my companions are located in a house with their sniper rifle killing only 2 people).

i find it kinda weird every single person on this forum is excellent at this game.

New player don’t go to the forum but to only report one bug, or one problem with gold/premium.

That’s not wierd:

Most streames are very good because they play the game a lot.
When you spend hour looking at a forum, you spend hours playing the game.
Both are exemple of dedication, that is directly link with the experience of the player.

They definitely aren’t. However most here can press “2” and make a rally point and know what direction the enemy is. Thats at least a 90% improvement over most of the player base

I am mediocre at shooters, but thankfully here the sheer amount of quadrupeds among other players is often enough to push me into the top half of the scoreboard, so I can pretend I’m good.

Also the match I am playing…

How those players get even less than 1/2 of my scores… A player that “have 37% WR” is better than them??? Then how’s their’s WR? 10%?
