Need advice on taking them down with aircraft, since most of the time it’s sacrificial run if I attempt to take them out. Using Fw 190 in Normandy.
Most effective thing so far I discovered is fly really, really low and strike them with a dive, but it’s not reliable and most often just crash.
On a side note: If you’re on ground playing as infantry or inside a tank, please do a favour to your pilots and take AA out, anti tanks do work on them. Thanks.
for the allies I use the P-51D-5 and make sure to climb as much as possible when getting bombs again usually 1,500m or higher and make really fast bomb runs that oft ar right around 500mph or faster to make their odds of hitting me virtually impossible. finding out where they are in teh first place requires someone to be bait tho or they miss shots on you and you see where it came from.
otherwise pretty much a almost guaranteed suicide run with a P-47D-28 to get rid of it
Wiggle around a bit as you dive, they WILL follow the marker and it will throw them off just enough to get into striking distance.
You can also ignore them and bomb target that are not close to them.
Most of time when a AA gun try to shot me down, I only die when i try to bomb it.
And survive if I just ignore them.
Probably they are too buissy shooting at infantry and react to you only if they feel they are in danger.
I usualy come from the side they are not facing and switch off the engine of my plane.
