Timer until next Plane deploy

Each top tier match I have is at least one person spamming planes. Firing the payload, crashing into the ground, repeat. Seems unfair as the other team cant do anything about it, especially if the plane has aircraft. (only counter i see is maybe camping their airspawn and/ or sitting on aa all game which could maybe kill them half the time.)

Personal opinion it also makes the game dull

Airfields my friend. Airfields are needed to prevent those “talented” players from spamming suicide bombing.

Plane spam is getting out of hand.
You can’t fix this by nerfing or reducing weapons carried by planes so DF will either limit the squad types we can have in our decks or introduce a spawn delay for aircraft.

I think that the main issue would be the unfairness, since we have historically accurate maps they can’t be placed anywhere on the map and since both airfields are in fix positions, the faction with the airfield closer to the objective would be at an advantage.
Just take D-Day map as an example, where would allied planes come from, across the Channel?

What is fairer, between suicide bomb spamming, or artificial a bit further away airfields?

Also those seemingly giant maps when flying… only the ground play area is semi historically rendered. The rest, if you ever try to land… the graphics are worthy of a 2000’s game :smile:

I often use suicide planes
So I’m pretty sure airports don’t affect suicide attacks.
It’s just because it’s too inefficient to raise prices, so people will choose a faster way.
And a good bombardier always has enough sight to evaluate the projection angle of rockets and bombs.
It’s very deadly when you don’t have anti-aircraft firepower.

I don’t want to repeat the airport’s shortcomings regarding slow aircraft and insufficient initial acceleration.
Look at the Japanese troops in the Pacific
I believe everyone has experienced it
When there is a blockade by enemy aircraft, carrier-based aircraft cannot reach the battlefield at all.
After they take off, they will die on the edge of the battleship’s anti-aircraft fire.
Do you want to be shot down just 10 seconds after taking off like them?
This is why Japan needs high-altitude rebirth aircraft

Compared to an airport full of shortcomings
Highly lethal or automatic ultra-long-range anti-aircraft guns and professional fighter pilots are what is really needed
Because only in this way can we truly and effectively stop suicide attackers.

I would either demand full refund for golds spend on slots or I would just quit the game completely.

Btw. The solution for suicide bombing is extremely simple. Just put initial spawn like 3 time the distance away to what it is currently.

So returning to refill point would actually worth it. Rather then cycling random planes.

Most of your teammates are deserters and the enemies are pretty good
Enemy infantry units slaughter you very effectively

This is a teamwork (game)
I’m guessing your main reason for failure wasn’t the possible suicide plane.
It’s just that simple infantry is not strong enough.
Because when the teammates of the suicide warrior do not have the ability to fight on the ground, they will still lose quickly.

Otherwise it will only make your blood pressure as high as your ranking

Most maps wouldnt be hard. Normandy, as you pointed out would be the exception. In which case id just plop a small island for that purpose.

Historically accurate it wouldnt be, but the only people that will see that is the pilots. No one else will notice the difference :slight_smile:

Like warthunder you could just have the airfields on the coast on either side of the battlemap

If this actually is issue for someone.

Aircraft carrier or suggested small island.

This probably would solve the “invidual” spam but stacks could still rotate the lovely spam cycle.

In the closed beta, each player only had 10 troop deployments. Was it good? I think it was because players cared more about their troops.
