Early semi auto rifles such as Carabine m1 and armaguerra or the fastest bolt action ( with perk that allow You to shoot faster) Like the manlicher 1895 ?

The Kar98k is not the best on paper if you compare to other bolt action rifle like the Manlicher1895, or the VG.2 or the Lee-Enfield, but it feel just right.
K98k feels perfect ngl
But in tier 1
No love for the Vz.24?
It has insane stopping power for a BRI rifle.
m93 mannlicher at br 1. Because man of culture.
difficult to compare m1 carbine with mannlicher 1895 thought. they are opposite faction rifles… so both.
armaguerra is just… bad, thought. semi sure, but verly low power, and only 6 rounds. insufficient to clear rooms well, whereas the m1, can (at least you can down everyone and finish them with a new magazine).
1895 will win in 1 vs 1 at medium range because of how quick it is… but no bayonet means you got to be sure where you shoot at if you assault a room with more than 1 enemy.
there’s an alternative thought. this:
last time @ErikaKalkbrenner made me realize how good that very overlooked tiny French rifle is. you almost get cycle speed as good as the 1895 AND you get the bayonet. you just need to learn to use it’s particular iron sight.
Also another alternative manlicher +flask+ axe+ weapon change perk and weapons reload pershot=
Perfection
or you know.
a classic p38 or luger. I use pistols ALL the time with my riflemen. fantastic is cqc. Even better if you play allies and get the 1911 or the Hi power.
In br 1 pistols are the semiauto rifles XD and it just works you can easily kill an entire building with some skill
I mean I’m pretty sure I can smuggle artillery Mauser into low br to make some mayhem so cool
And the new Russian smg pistol I’m pretty sure
Bolt action rifles? I have a fear of bolt action rifles…Only because I “SUCK” with them.
I have kind of the oposite situation. I love BA rifles in enlisted because it’s the only game I’ve ever played where I don’t suck with them.
I bought level one smg premium squads so I wouldn’t have to use the bolt action rifle. In fact, I am not alarmed if I have a seven man squad missing two riflemen to just have a five man SMG/MG squad. However, now I only play 1-3 lower levels so everyone except my Russians has access to a semi auto rifle, thus complete squads. Here is one of my examples, and if you look at all my squads they are all assaulter squads. I do usually keep a radioman and engineer, but they are the first to be sent to the rear if I need silver some where else.
man you are avoiding them like the plague
But…
Why do you play br 1 - 3 then? There’s bolties EVERYWHERE and since pc players came with Steam, even newcomers know how to aim decently!
Late br should be more in line with what you like?
BAs really depend on the sights. If you struggle with a gun’s sights, you’ll always have issues. I can’t get on with the Ross rifle, for example, but with more “open” sights, like the M1903 or VZ.24, I can pop heads from miles away.
Also, the bolt action perk is a must-have, too. It massively speeds up the firing rate, and is a huge help.
The front sights need to be fixed. The middle needle needs to be slightly shortened.
I have very few bolt action rifle squads as I have premium and tech tree assaulter squads, along with a medic squad so the only bolt action rifle I deal with is my sniper rifle. I do have an all level one allied squad, but it has two premium smg squads and an assaulter squad, along with my apc so I really don’t have to use rifles there either. However, avoiding the rifle means I will never be good with the rifle. I can use it, but really don’t like it and if I do use it I am off at a distance since I suck at close range with it.
I do not recommend it to someone who wish to learn using bolties. Firing faster, while not knowing how to aim well with them beforehand, will just end up with the player missing all shots.
The BEST perks for basic boltie use, are the 2x “aim down the sight faster” perks at 5 green pts each (you can go without. Sprint is often better) and the MUST HAVE, very cheap 2x “lower dispersion while turning” perk at only 1 yellow point each.
Because often, your enemy isn’t going in a straight line towards you, but sideways, and when you follow in your sight to lead your shot, you will lose accuracy. Cheap perk prevents that loss.
The faster reloading is also nice to have, but not necessary when learning.
Only use fast bolt action cycle speed perk when you’re already good with them.
you gotta be calm when aiming kinda like how cold blood sniper are in the movie if you panic you will miss. Happen many time to me tbh
hell even now i sometime panic when i see a bunch of enemy coming in like a russian attack wave
