i think that`s how explosives work ingame, cause i have also noticed similar thing with tank HE rounds.
This is the problem, there is no armor protection in this area of the King Tiger tank, only the seat ring is exposed.
Throwing an impact grenade from this position can blow up the entire vehicle.

Interestingly, tank high-explosive rounds fired at this location do not destroy it like impact grenades do
I don’t understand what’s going on, maybe the impact grenade blew up the King Tiger tank in a different way?
