Tier list doesnt fit with pacific gameplay reality at all

seriously, do people did that tier list ever played the pacific ?

-armaguerra 39 is comparable with m carbine, typhe hei in overall performance but same tier with vg 1 5 ???
vg 1-5 should be tier 3 at least but not 2
-type otsu at 4th tier with garand 1, zh 29 and hei at 3rd tier with gewehr 41 makes absolutely no sense. Every other semi auto easily outmatches otsu and hei at every aspect.
-einfield no4 and smle 3 s equivalent of japanese can be long 99 but its either premium or event weapon now. or terra rifle with its fast realod but its already event weapon of paratroopers. Otsu is more comparable i guess

  • tank balance in pacific according to the list is absolutely a joke. Roughly equivalent of japanese- murican tanks:
    M 8 (Premium) - ke ni
    actually ,M22 locust is more comparable with ke-ni but we dont have it in game anyways
    M2a4/ M3 stuart – chi, ha ( Premium ) / chi ha kai (event)
    M13 – ka-mi (which i am not sure)
    Ho-i – m8 scott
    Equivalent of ta se or ha go can be m2 half track or m3a1 half track but we dont have those in game anyway.
    this table is the solid proof of how they rushed pacific without any long term plan.
    -p38 g1 against reisen ? and same tier with ho-i ? I dont even need to explain how absurd this is . p38 will easily blast any japanese paper tigers. Even real tiger 1 has no hope against its 6 rockets.
    they absolutely need to add more light vehicles to muricans and better tanks to japanese.
    -according to the list, if a japanese player choose type hei he will have to play against m4a2

It is not a battle rating list, only a tech-tree.

IIRC, the devs already stated that the Japanese faction will received more equipment. So, they should be able to at least match the Allied faction in terms of strength. We’ll see what happens in the future.

Ya the P 38 has about a 100 mph speed advantage over the Zero, as I recall, kinda of like a Me 262 vs a P 51…

That only applies at higher altitudes, at the altitudes most fights take place in for this game, the speed difference is closer to 50kph. Besides, anyone flying a Zero over 400kph is going to be in for a world of hurt anyways so it doesn’t matter. These planes fight each other all the time in WT as they have the same BR there and it doesn’t really seem unfair either way. Yes they are polar opposites in how they fly, but that is part of the fun, as the fight is now determined by who makes a mistake and tries to fight the enemy on their prefered ground first. Seeing as this game steals it’s plane models from WT , the same should apply here. In fact, the lack of third partying and the limited altitude should mean the fight favor the Zero more than the P-38.
