{THREAD} Invasion Rework, changes & suggrestions

Hello,

i wanted to create a thread were people can discuss and share their ideas for an Invasion mode rework.
If you felt that capuring single spots like houses, bunkers etc. was beginning to feel boring, exhaustive, samey and repetitive, then feel free to show us your ideas on how to change Invasion to something more enjoyable.

To start, i have created a foundation on which can be expanded upon. The following picture is a quick reimagination of how to change the dynamic in Invasion. Reminder that it is not fully fledged out in any way. There may be imbalances and other problems, and that’s why you should give your input unless you want Invasion to stay as it currently is.

All the changes in the first two pictures are debatable and you can either change the formula and show your own ideas or expand on it.

We would need bigger team sizes for that…

I’m open for new game modes / changes but the intensity of the battles shouldn’t be reduced in any way.

1 normal arty strike like the ones radio operators can call in? But what would be the point of playing RO after that?

Larger map, less greyzone, capture “line” or spread out capture zone, actual strategic capture points not random buildings

Like “Advance and secure” or whatever it was from Project Reality

Or like how Heroes and Generals does it with lines of points.

It would certainly open up the present choke points, i think artillery would need to be tested before change as with extra plane/tank.

Interesting idea though.

Informing the defending team the next defense area would be a huge help for those that want to fortify strategic positions in advance, hedgehogs, AT, AA etc

There should be always 2 starting points to spawn

And maybe some like secondary objective that when captured by the attackers creates a third spawn point…or gives the attackers a additional tank…
