Don’t get hit, problem solved.

I don’t mind in the slightest. I got used to it alot coming from Ro1 and 2. You would have HATED getting shot in the leg there…

RO was a completely different game, a better game.
This is zoom zoom CoD shit where going slow = death

tru

Slowing down from bullet hits doesn’t bother me though the speed reduction should be dialed back a bit
Its the explosions slowing me to an actual tiptoe quadriplegic speed that should be removed

SMG too. Doubling a corner I got PPD sprayed. I couldnt make the corner because I slowed down.

So you can’t run and gun COD style? Honestly this complaint is absurd.

It makes perfect sense that when you get fucking shot or take damage from shrapnel or an explosive pressure wave hits you, you’re going to slow the fuck down.

As a combat veteran that can’t stomach 99% of the cheese ball shooters I try it’s so refreshing seeing a tiny bit of realism in a game like Enlisted.

I don’t understand why you’d want to move this great game away from what sets it apart from all of the garbage copy cat shooters on the market. You do NOT want this game going the way of Battlefield 2042 where the Devs start chasing trends and the game has no identity.

Imo it’s already going this way so why bother :man_shrugging:
Personally I’ll probably leave when I have oportunity.

So you want to run and gun COD style. Gotcha.

What’s fun for you might not be fun for everybody else champ.

Why not go play COD, Apex Legends or 2042 if that’s the play style you prefer?

Nowhere do I imply I want that.
I want to be able to move like I was able to last patch
This damage slowdown feels like shit and I honestly think it was added to help worse players get kills because it makes you a sitting duck

Nevermind that getting spammed but not hurt by a mortar completely removes your ability to play now

to be honest, it can go both ways,

why dont you play PS or hell let loose for that more “realistic” aproach?

maybe, just maybe we like enlisted for what it is, a midground.

maybe, its this, enlisted was/is either arcade, and realistic somehow, a midground.
maybe OP wants to keep it that way, not making it more realistic neither more arcade, just the game he enjoys to play as is.

If you think about it, you are answering it yourself on your statement. maybe, just maybe we dont want the game to change on some core mechanics. Runing and shooting, might be one of them.

if i wanted a more arcade game i would play cod vanguard
if i want a more “realistic”/sim aproach i would go for hll ,
but i choosed enlisted, for what it is. a mid ground not trying to be any of the above.

i ill add the following take on this “change”:

this isnt to make the game neither more casual or neither more realistic, this is just in the intent to make a less skillfull player a way to kill someone that somehow managed to learn the core mechanics of movement/fight in this game.
making this types of changes makes the player that took time to get used on the way movement worked on a fight against other player, a easier target if shooted first , making a possible less skillfull player granted with a kill imo isnt neither rewarding or neither reflect the capability of the player on that “1 v 1” scenario.

making “nerfs” to make less skillfull players capable of having a fight isnt the right thing to do in my eyes, game simply looses a learning curve that wasnt even that hard to begin with. and make fights less relevant 1 on 1.

instd of this types of changes, they should focus their time, for once, in a matchmaker that put early players on a server and players that already played the game for x amount of time/matches on another server to avoid newbies against guys that already have everything.

at the end of the day, what do i even know about game devlpment… i saw this kinds of changes in all failing games i played befor enlisted. its an ending cycle.

The whole “making a less skill player better” argument is rubbish.

So if you are wounded and move slower as a result, wtf does that have to do with the skill level of the random grenade, random bomb, random mortar or random stray bullet that tagged you and slowed you down? You might have been hit by someone or something that wasn’t even intended to hit you.

It’s called collateral damage. It’s actually a
pretty cool feature and again, injects just a tiny bit of realism into the game.

You guys pushing this whole “we shouldn’t be slowed when wounded because it rewards less skill” are pushing a charade. You ignore the fact that chance and good or bad luck also play a significant role in being wounded or KIA in a game like Enlisted where bombs, mortars and machine gun rounds penetrating through buildings are thankfully part of the experience.

You guys just don’t like the fact that it slows you down and that it disrupts a certain run and gun/bunny hop play style that you get to enjoy in other games.

yeah that will show those bunny hopping super ghost fighters  keep it! its an feature against zerging Russians with OP smgs and perhaps soon shotguns asw

maybe you didnt read it right:

.

this isnt about other games.
its about how we played enlisted since alpha. was always like this, a midgroud.

if you want a more realistic game, i for once recommend you to play Hll or PS. we want this game as it was on some core features. get it?

this isnt about making enlisted more casual, or more hardcore/realistic.
this is about a mechanic, that is introduced purely to punish the ones that have movement over the ones that are still learning how to move the mouse/joystick on a controler.

Actions/nerfs to punish the ones that play by the game core mechanics, to alow lowskill users to get the same experience instd of making that users learn them, its as good as a cucumber in the sahara desert.

but at the end of the day, i saw you did play games for over 40 years on another topic, i myself had my first computer in 96, and got into fps since first medal of honour/cod1, and i m yet to see a game succeed with this kind of implementations to actually degrade the overall feeling of the game.

but hey, we might get pass over it and adapt to this small changes, but i ill for sure, enjoy new comers getting freeze against a “veteran” player smg/lmg…

and also, there is more in fps games besides b.hopping and pressing W. not our fault your boots are cemented to the ground sir.

so far, all the changes ingame regarding nerfs, were purely with new players /low skill ones in mind, making the game more and more user friendly and less rewarding to play.
and by this, all the MG dispersion nerfs, removal of magasines on selective fire weapons , slower semi, inertia when shooted by a bullet and so on.

this , again, its purely for the sake of making low skill ones (no ofence here) a chance in the batle insted of a proper matchmaker to separate them.

if they wanted the game to be more realistic, most if not the core mechanics of the game would be changed , and most if not all of us werent here enjoying the game for what it is.
get it?.

not a arcade cod shooter
not a hll / ps realistic simulator.

but a mid ground, where movement / fast time to kill counts.

you want a more realistic game, i tip my hat and point my finger to hll or ps, for once, let us enjoy the game how it is.
