at 3:09 I can’t imagine how many soldiers got PTSD having to watch a comrade of there’s split in half by an HE shell and sitting there bleeding out and screaming in pain.
Looks to be a very silly movie. With a lot of let’s cram in a bunch of ww2 stereotype “activities.”
Do you think war is silly? wow…
this might be a shock to you but stereotypes exists because it was a large enough trend
Well the movie was made in 1993 so it´s cast tends to overact at times as was common back then. It´s a pretty good movie otherwise though. You can find it on YT, if possible watch it subtitled but the english dub is also pretty good.
I am fairly sure I never said war was silly. War is terrible and first hand witnessing any person dying is stressful and can cause a level of ptsd.
I think the vast majority of “war” movies are silly. They are usually created for propaganda and nationalist pride. Love how many people get off claiming how “historical” they are; or pondering a human getting hit by a he round.
start at 2:57 and you’ll see what it was like to get PTSD in combat. no other war movie had tried that kinda death scene.
Buddy if it was a real HE shell he most likely would´ve been blown to bits and scattered over the battlefield not sawn in half and conveniently sitting there so the actor can hide his legs in the snow.
Don´t take movies litteraly like that. They´re just movies.
Yeah because that scene doesn´t make any logical sense whatsoever. It´s just some quick shock value and it seems to have worked very well on you.
honestly, I’ve seen so much screwed-up stuff in my life that wasn’t war-related that Death doesn’t faze me anymore.
Some situations portrayed in the film look a bit silly but overall it’s very climatic.
Bruv, Stalingrad is a classic movie!
I got a good movie: Snayper 2: Tungus I really don’t care about the plot but the hot Russian female snipers get me off! Snayper 2: Tungus (TV Movie 2012) - IMDb
this is a good movie sadly the movie was translated by a dude who didn’t care about his job in 2008
by the way ignore my Russian foot in the background
https://youtu.be/BWPbLTSD01o?si=ysCO-mIwd9aur0Uk The only good scene in the admiral besides the naval battle at the beginning. yeah the red army shot a woman/Nun there’s one scene in the movie where the main character is at a ceremony and is having a staring contest with his friends wife and accidently juts forward and the button on his uniform pops off LOOOOOL
I´m not big into movies. Better make a WW2 movie post and share them there.
k i will do that
This might shock you but stereotypes exist because of that people THINK is reality… not what actually is real.
