After not playing for 6 months I’ve decided to return because I actually have fun playing this game. The reason I left previously was because there were certain limited time weapons that I missed out on, so ill just enjoy what I have.
By the way, where are the old players at? I have my crossplay disabled and I haven’t ran into any old players from 6 months ago?
How did you even distinguish between old player and new player?
i am technically an old player now i guess but im in america server and i do see a lot of forum people in my match
As a former Tier 5 Germany main, I can only speculate that other German players feel demoralized by the new tech tree. We have had loads of stuff tossed into the tech tree. For example, I was researching a Tier 5 plane before the merge. Now, there are 10 planes in the tech tree that I need to research before I can complete my Tier 5 plane and buy it. These are 10 planes that I will not use, and I even have some of the underlying planes (for those who are stacked), but I still need to research the first plane in the stack.
This extra grind just to get one item messes up with the veterans, and I had to say to myself, ‘Well, I’m not getting that plane because this is just too crazy.’"
Yes, I think after reaching a new Tier you should be able to pick any line you want to start grinding.
Meaning, you’ve been grinding tier 2 lmgs. But after reaching tier 3 you don’t like any lmgs there. So you instead completed other lines to reach Tier 4 without even touching any Tier 3 lmgs
Now you’re at tier 4 and you like the lmgs there, so you start grinding them. This is even if you don’t have any Tier 3 lmgs.
It would make Tiers somwhat more significant milestone. And veterans wouldn’t be forced to geind literally the whole tech tree.
Paratroopers have completed destroyed the structure of the game, and Tiger II H has no rivals yet, but other than that… game is indeed improving constantly.
Paratroopers really need some adjustment
The fact you can just air drop right onto enemy rallies is kind of funny/sad
“oh, you are trying to actually play the game? ILLEGAL, go back to being farmed in spawn”
Just had a normandy match today and it was total cancer.
I was expecting the enemy to come from the beaches, but silly me didn’t realize 6 enemy paratrooper crates landing right between our main spawn and the objective.
How on earth are we supposed to build rallies when the enemy is landing right ontop of our engineers?
Paratroopers are completely broken and destroy the entire structure of the game. Its like no one plays the game regularly anymore, its all just Paratroopers spawning where ever the hell they want
When you have crossplay disabled there is a smaller pool of players to play with, I have memorized multiple of them and haven’t found one of them yet, either they left or there’s many new players that decided to disable crossplay.
I wasn’t referring to the people on the fourm, many of them I see are still here, i was referring to the small community of players that play with crossplay completely turned off.
That sounds terrible, I wish they would add a historical mode for custom battles to play every now and then.
what BR are you playing at?
I dont even know, I’m trying to level up all of my bolt action squads but i have my PPD-40 DSZ and T-50 equipped just incase I have to clear a cluster at a point
sounds like tier 4 or 5, which I think most people are playing at? I have just been enjoying bolties at BR 2 mostly
How does the battle ratings work, I’m still a little confused
How they are supposed to work is players that have the same or close battle rating will be matched together in order to have balanced teams. Each weapon/vehicle has an assigned battle rating. BR 3 players playing against BR 3 players as an example. However it is pretty inconsistent right now so BR 2 and 5 are what most people are playing.
Unless the enemy looks up after killing you and shoots your AI to bits because they don’t release their schutes at the same time as you.
it IS a good game
But I think a lot of us are burnt out by the back to back heavy grind events
I know I am
I miss my month or two long breaks before jumping back in for a month or two
2 on 2 off has turned into 4 on
Still a great game, but burnout is real
Sure, but
They often won’t and even 1 soldier can kill off a ton of rallies
And even if they all die mid air, you can literally still look around, see where they are coming from and come back and bomb/rocket them them
And if your team is even remotely competent, the fact that half of the enemy team is now stopped and busy shooting at the sky and not zerging the cap zone means tons of your teammates aren’t getting shot at instead/can overpower whoever didn’t take the bait
Still, I kind of like the idea of paratroopers, it just needs some tweaking IMO. The transport plane definitely shouldn’t just come out of hyperspace almost right over the drop zone for starters
