The Halloween battlepass needs to be opposed strongly so that darkflow doesn’t get the idea that players need to pay for the privilege to get event rewards that would have been free in previous event formats.
Historical accuracy aside, free to play players simply will not get all of the event squads or guns. While the battlepass itself is designed to get paid players to simply purchase all the reward tiers to bypass the extreme tedium of the mode (which you cant even earn xp or silver while playing).
Even if you purchase the ridicolous halloween pass, you still don’t get access to all the event equipment. You then have to pay premium-squad level prices to get the RD-44(B) and Daemon Jumbo.
As someone who likes to collect event rewards, I feel like I am being poached for all my money.
How am I supposed to feel good financially supporting a game if it this is the kind of practices that start being employed.
yea true that is really bad tbh plus even if you buy the rd44 to help people out they cant even take it cause they “havent unlock it yet” it kinda suck ngl
now idk if it does that but that happen to me when i try picking up fg42 that someone drop (before i unlock it of course) so im gonna assume it the same for everything

Also…everyone knows the rd44 is stupidly priced. Just don’t buy it? Lol. They don’t ever put stuff up for gold with the intention of selling lots. Most people can and will live without the tank skins and rd44. If you can’t, then i suggest stop playing the game all together to be honest.
While I can live without the guns and the tank (after all, they’re just reskins), the fact that you can only get two event squads, and they’re awarded randomly, is a massive bummer. Not only you don’t get all the unique event content, you can’t even pick the ones you would be most interested in.
by buying the pass it’s not letting you skip any levels. It’s literally just as much work, there’s just more from it. All of which is pretty useless in game to begin with. There’s nothing wrong here with how it’s set up. You’ll still get half of the available crap for free. Which is better than nothing right? We usually dont even get a halloween event as well.
I truly believe they have been more than generous with what they’ve given out for free in this game and at the end of the day they don’t really owe us anything. They are a business and have to make money. I do wish they allowed a couple more free slots for players though. That’s my biggest gripe. It would also be nice if the premium stuff was more reasonably priced.
the bp is a cool idea, but rewards should have been free.
and for those who supports the idea and see potential, should be able to buy the premium pass and just get more challenges ( just like the main one ) per day and few other small things such as profiles, icons, name tags and that jazz.

You’re missing his whole point. Event squads and weapons exist for players who don’t wish to pay for premiums, but still want something unique and cool. Events no matter what kind should not have locked off content.

event/premium squads come with a full squad of special troops and guns
you get one special troop, a camo gun and that’s it
four ordinary troops with br1 standard weapons
so the big get is playing as the special in the event
It seems like Gaijin already marked the game as “maintenance/milking mode” like Crossout and Star Conflict they try to do bare minimum and overly monetize every aspect of the game.
Lmao this how those ugly weapon skins should’ve been from the start, make them be only usable during Halloween events especially that Sherman wh40k orc skin.
Anyway i don’t see much value in buying that premium pass. Those squads are just a gold order dude with unique look, same gun as usual no new skins that come with that character, not even melee is new, let’s be honest they should be premium like with WT battle passes it’s fine making them premium once a year. We don’t get any of the gold orders, zero gold currency for leveling up, just a couple of skins that’s been soaked in blood container for 2 weeks. So lame and not worth it.
Have you tested it? Then how i could drop FG42 II to dude that haven’t unlocked it yet? You should drop weapon automatically on the ground when you pick a 2nd copy.
That’s lame it’s like DF tried to make event even less fun for free players on purpose. I wonder why FG42 II works just fine maybe because it’s a free pass weapon?
