I would answer that you are partially correct. Because there was an after the capitulation. That why I propose to add 2 news squad have been fighting in the same campaign, far away from the Papaland:
Tunisia ALLY: “1st Free French Division”
Consisting of troops from mainland France and from the then French colonial empire, the division was formed by the first units to rally to de Gaulle after the fall of France. Together with the 3rd Algerian Infantry Division, it was the most decorated French division of the Second World War.

Agreed, add France 1940 campaign, add Free French legionnaires. Vichy wouldn’t make sense for Tunisia as they gave up pretty quickly before Tunisia though it would be interesting nevertheless.
1940 third french republic army, Vichy France, Free France (and colonial free french like the Moroccans) all should be in the game, agreed. There were also notable French groupings in the battle of Moscow if I recall.
I’d love a battle of France campaign to see R35, H39, Somuas, dewotines, potez and maybe even a B1 (and a premium AMD 178 ? ). The only issue is while France is full of neat weapons the germans would mostly use things from moscow.
Maybe give the Axis more italien stuff and Czech tanks as tech tree vehicles. Maybe some captured polish tanks and weapons too, to get them enough new toys for the campaign.
It should be possible to get a full campaign out of that.
And yes i just want to drive around in a little tankett and anoy the enemy.
I would love when we would get a campaign with no to very few semis (Goldorder weapons and maybe restricted to certain classes, like only for engis or a new class)

In all seriousness though I’d like France, Kursk, Pacific, Crimea, Caucasus, Koenigsberg, etc. too but with the current “campaigns” system we are bound to have copypaste progression and split playerbase anyway.
