This game is unbalanced, one side the new players an the other veterans, 90% of the games

not really… some games are competitive, balanced and esports ready, but 99% of the games are not. and this includes enlisted which can never be esports cause of bots.

Agreed. Even when I know my side is going to lose, I enjoy being a pain in the ass to the other side.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind staying in loosing matches either.

But since I am trying to grind out as much stuff as possible before the merge. Quitting obvious loosing matches and conquests is just way more efficient.

+50% exp bonus is just too much, without it I would spend way more hours grinding stuff I already own currently.

There’s extreme difference when you have 6000 points as winner/looser in the matter of experiences.
This bonus encourages me to leave matches that I know will be on 80% lost. And it’s obvious just after few secs of the match.
It never encouraged me to stay in the match and try to carry team filled with bots and casuals without uncertain outcome. It would be extremely illogical.
If this bonus wasn’t a thing, I wouldn’t have any need to quit. Since I would know my effort will be rewarded in the same manner either way.

After reading everything, here is my 2 cents.

Esports:
Esports wouldnt be something impossible for Enlisted, even if there are bots. There are lots of avenues where skill expression and teamwork can shine through. The issue comes when companies try to force the esports scene for their game, which obviously falls flat. Until the game gets refined a bit more, there obviously is a long way before we talk about tournaments, but glad to see the devs will support them if they get organized.

Post match EXP:
I know some say that the victory bonus doesnt matter, but it really does contribute to desertion rate. Why would anyone stay in a difficult or obviously lost match when they know that their efforts by the end wont even be rewarded as much? (Which means less silver cards since XP is tied to them as well)

Although you can match the XP rate by getting medals to make up for it, it still doesnt compare to someone who gets an additional boost of 1.5x for winning on top of medals.

Hopefully the new matchmaker will help curb stomp matches, but Winning matches should only matter to those trying to increase their player rating.

Steamers:
Personally I never liked following the ideas and input of streamers, They are just another player. I think the only streamer I have played with is Freeman.

Grey zone tanks
As much as I cant stand greyzone tanks, these days there are a lot more resources to take them out. They really arent a threat unless they have a good angle on the objective during a push, but even then they can be avoided if your movement is good.

I never thought bots were the main issue. I think enlisted is just already too complex game for being good eSport material.
There’s so many individual aspects of the game that should have been balanced and polished to nearly perfection to get a relevant bases for eSport.

I think some kind of clan related competitive endgame content would fit Enlisted more. It would be still more casual, but competitive players would have reason why to keep playing this game.
But I really dont think just pure eSport tournament scene for enlisted is way to go or is even possible.

In fact is possible, Gun game and even fight showed that enlisted can do it but it need be refined at gameplay level before think about it because bug, glitch and RNG god intervention have a to huge impact on the battle outcome

I think the problem is xp are gived after the battle end and are subjective to the moltiplicator, they need be gived in real time instead and the award at the end of the battle should be fixed ammount of additional xp and silver not moltiplicator

I agree, this is something along the lines of what I imagine will be the extent of esports for enlisted. Tournaments definitely would only be from amateur teams. Id be surprised if C9 or TL make teams for enlisted for example lol

Too complex?

I think its just not balanced excluding Normandy to make it esports unless people hype plebs for who has highest kill count of Axis Tunisia bots.

Other than that, this game is definition of arcade game.

I wouldn’t go that far - more like present a challenge, an opponent worthy of attention.
After all, we are all here to have fun.
Where’s the fun, if everything is pain? Not counting the masochists.

Pain in the ass meaning an opponent worthy of attention.
