Full of players and down to the wire. Just had a game full of players on Moscow where we were pushed back to the last objective on defense mode. We held the point when enemy team had 500 points left. It was close and chaotic. IT WAS FUN.
Now why am I saying this? Some campaigns are ghost towns due to numerous campaigns splitting the playerbase up. Devs need to find a way to integrate all campaigns together into one Theater mode.
I keep talking to myself about this issue because DF will never provide an answer/statement on what they plan to do long term with campaigns. Funneling the playerbase into a theater mode will keep the campaigns populated with real players and not BOTS. This will make majority of the games fun as hell to play and not just BOT farms.
Literally just had a match like this, Moscow on Manor Assault (Attacking as Axis).
We won the game with no reinforcements left.
I think every single player had 12 squad wipes on each side Minimum. Some of the defenders had 20.
True, some people dont know how have fun withaut try harding, and i dont know how them can do this for hour withaut get tired, if i play a hard match im KO for some hour
Had one much like the one you described not too long ago, we reset the timer with 4 seconds left then held long enough against the horde to win it. they are quite the treat.
i too rarely find matches like this as well where both sides are actually equal and its either win or lose but best effort was given, those moments are the best. Like one match where we had to cap the last point with 100 reinforcement remaining, everyone one capped it at the last moment with 10 remaining and won, that moment was so satisfying and if we had lost, well GG
