I remember during the first pre-alpha test that there was an aiming point when in 3rd person. This was really helpful for me who runs the game with low fps and sometimes experience lag when switching from 3rd to 1st person view. It would be nice if this was brough back.
3rd person view is really unrealistic, they removed any and all instances of 3rd person view, including on tanks and planes. I doubt they will ever bring it back.
