Be aggressive, KD DOES NOT MATTER IN THIS GAME. i have yet to see a top 3 player who just snipes.
put an engineer in every squad and BUILD RALLY POINTS.
use squads to their best ability. Riflemen? mid range, assaulters? CQB, Machine gunners, fire support. dont even use snipers unless you are holding them off an objective, few snipers are useful.
DONT hide your squad and then go into the objective alone, thats a noob move, you can hide them close, as in right on the objective but leaving them far behind? nah.
prioritise killing tanks.
cook your grenades.
if you are losing GET YOUR ASS INTO THE CAP ASAP. sitting outside and sniping is next level useless. If you are defending and they are rushing, sitting back and sniping is useless as well, get into the fight.
if you don’t know how to fly, dont. crashing the plane costs tickets. the only time I bother flying is when the other team is bombing us, I jump in to a fighter, kill them and then crash because flying is a waste of time. same with tanks, dont jump in a tank and then suicide, its annoying.
On Conquest matches I heard the best strat is to cap A and C. Capping either usually is a no brainer as they start closest to you, but usually teams leave these close points unguarded so taking them takes pressure off of the battle for B.
Also flying is underrated. It takes some practice but if you get the hang of it Close air support is literally the deciding factor in matches. Granted, you need the higher level planes for this (and obviously you won’t be able to affect the ground combat much with a fighter with only machine guns so always make sure the plane you are flying always has bombs of rocket if you want to do CAS).
Some of the lower level tanks are better than higher level ones. Tanks like the Stuart, Puma or even the AB41 have better mobility than all of their “upgrades”. Even if the AB41 and Stuart can’t pen higher level tanks from behind, you can always move into a good position, run out of the tank, tnt pack it and run back to your tank. The Puma usually can pen every allied tank it comes accross from the sides and the back.
And probably the most important one I can give to new players: make sure to upgrade at least the personel upgrades for every squad (the red upgrades) because if you later want to use, for example, engineer in your squads, but they aren’t upgraded you can’t level them up.
