The bit better Ki-100 with 2x 250kg bombs would be more suitable Battle Rating IV candidate.

Bombload Options Configurations [Late modifications had wing pylon mounted bombs as well]

  1. 5x 250kg (3 in bomb way, 2 on wings)
  2. 3x 500kg (1 in bomb bay, 2 on wings)
  3. 1x 800kg + 2x 250kg (1 in bomb bay, 2 on wings)
  4. 1x 500kg + 2x 250kg (1 in bomb bay, 2 on wings)

Since the Kikka was added with 1x 500kg and it can replenish bombs fast, it made the Ki-67 no longer a priority addition.

Personally I feel aircraft that could fit into BR2 and BR3 are a higher priority than the otherwise empty BR4 atm.

Otherwise yeah why not at all of the above.

Kikka is a fighter so Japan still lacks a br5 attacker.

Ki-43 or Ki-44 at BR II with 100kg bomb, need something to counter those annoying P-38

all of these would be amazing to see added to Japan tech tree!
especially more planes! a BR 3 fighter and a BR 4/5 bomber now that the D4Y1 is BR 3 would be great. (I still want the chi-ha though)

true, and it’s great! But the zero’s bombs are small and Japan doesn’t have a another BR 2 fighter with better ground attack yet.

  • Russia has P-40E-1 with x1 250kg, x2 100kg bombs
  • USA has P-38G with x6 M8 rockets
  • Germany has IAR-81C with x1 250kg, x2 50kg bombs

Japan’s only option is A6M2 with x2 60kg bombs, so something that can compare to the other nation’s options would be very nice to have

Japan could use more aircraft to fill the early and mid range BR like Ki-43-II (BR 1), Ki-44 (BR 2), Ki-61-I otsu (BR 2), Ki-43-III (BR 3)

Ki-43-II is a BR II worthy plane
1130-1150 Horsepower engine, A6M like agiity. Better Speed and climb than A6M2
Sure it has 2x 12.7mm guns but Ho-103’s slap hard and it can carry 2x 100kg bombs or 2x 250kg bombs which is too hood for BR I

I know its an honorable mention but it is quite a Stupid suggestion. P1Y1 would be better.

A Ki-67 doing divebombing or CAS would be as silly as a B17 doing the same.

You wouldnt see B-17 try torpedo bomb ships at low altitude now would you

Ki-67 is closer to stuff like Tu-2, Pe-2 and B-26

Yeah, but there is only two of them. If it had four Ho 103’s like the Ki-44-I or Ki-61-I otsu then sure. But the Ki-43-II only has two of them.

And that is true those bombs are good. I’d say maybe the Ki-61-I ko at BR I. It has two 12.7mm Ho 103’s and two 7.7mm Type 89, so not crazy good gun’s.

Yes but 2x 100kg bombs on a fighter at BR II is very good, nvm at BR I
