Hello everyone, I want to talk about this issue today
I currently encounter many situations, including the fact that I met some novice players in the BR5 game because they purchased BR5 premium squads and entered a room that was completely unsuitable for them. He may only have about BR1~2 weapons in his hand. , just because of a premium squad, he entered a matchup that he couldn’t handle at all.
I have also seen such a player who just came into contact with this game and then purchased the premium squads of BR5. The final result was that he was completely unable to use the premium squads he purchased, because when he entered the game of BR5, he only had the purchased premium squads. Only premium squads have corresponding combat effectiveness, while other ordinary squads only have low-level weapons and can only hide behind the battlefield or be tortured by the enemy.
Including myself, I have also encountered a similar situation. In BR5 games, I often encounter premium squads who purchased BR5, but they are 100% novices. They lack the training in low BR rooms.
He was unhappy because he couldn’t fight the enemies, and I was unhappy because they were so bad that they couldn’t function at all.
This is like selling tobacco and alcohol to minors, selling them directly without any prompts or warnings. I think this is very unethical and not conducive to the development of the game.
For players who have purchased premium squads with high BR, their game journey may be ruined. Many of them do not understand the BR system of this game. They will only think: wow, this game is so unfair.
For high BR players, encountering such teammates is also very uncomfortable.
So I think you should be more cautious when selling high BR premium squads. My opinion is: Add military rank restrictions to high BR premium squads. For example, you can purchase BR5 premium squads only after you have reached (or previously reached) the rank of major.
Or, add a warning to tell players who are new to the game how the BR system works when purchasing, so that they can decide whether to buy it or not.
This is an 18+ game
In most countries, the age of full responsibility
If they have no way to take responsibility for their choices
They should leave and go play Fortnite
Regarding the problem of low-level players mixing with high-level players
This is just a pure RB classification
Just like a novice who gets a single piece of level 3 equipment
Even if it’s not a paid team, these ignorant sandbags still exist.
If I remember correctly, there is now an introduction to the room allocation mechanism.
So there is no need for baby-specific tips
Warning sign about using higher BR equipment has been asked more than few times.
More radical way would be linking premiums directly to your TT progress.
Aka cant buy BR5 plane if you only unlocker BR2 and so on regardless its highly unlike such will be implemented.
I appreciate your concern for new players.
Perhaps even more protection is needed for them, other than only premium squads.
A few days ago I was playing Germany BR5 and was surprised to see an enemy Grant tank which is BR2.
BR5 is supposed to be only BR 3-5.
BR2 is supposed to be only BR 1-3.
The Grant player should select equipment of BR 1-2, so he wont find himself in higher BR.
But yet, there he was…
I can only assume he made the mistake of selecting equipment ranging from BR 1-3, sending him not to BR 1-3 but BR 3-5.
When playing USA BR5, I also often see German biplanes BR1 flying around…
Yea I guess I could consider these as “anomaly” since I even seen mg13 in br5 match kinda ridiculous tbh besides I don’t understand why low br player thought high br would be chill that just weird logic to me
This is not an anomaly
It’s just the result of a group of monkeys who didn’t read the prompts and started the game casually with only one level 3 equipment.
The matter of the thing is this game have close to no tutorial. I mean we only have tutorial about how to shoot, walk, run, prown and build spawns. Nothing else
The game is fairly obvious about labeling the BR on the weapon or vehicle when you go to look at it before buying the squad. If you buy a premium squad on the website store it also states very clearly what the BR is.
If someone is at BR I or BR II and they buy a BR IV or V premium squad thinking they could bring it to their BR I or II game, then its pretty apparent they were trying to cheat, as the weapon or vehicle would be way overpowered for that BR.
Enlisted is not a pay to win game and does not present itself as such. Premium time and premium squads are mostly for allowing the player to gain more experience and level up faster, and to present unique guns and weapons not in the standard tech tree.
My MOST humiliating dogfighting deafeat of all time, was when I flew a nimble Spitfire and didn’t see my pursuer on my 6. I received some grazing shots, and immediately started evasive maneuvers.
“Pfeh, I’ve got a Spitfire, fool, you can’t out turn me!”
…
Pursuer was a biplane. Had I merely flew away I’d have outrun it in no time, but not knowing what it was I tried to shake it doing the scissor
This shameful experience haunt me to this day. I don’t think it gets much worse.
Im seeing alot of low BR players in High BR games. The last couple have sworn they only had BR 2 equipment (I bet something slipped in though)…who knows. maybe its still broken
Yes it shows the BR, but it does NOT explain what that BR means. I can’t tell you many times I’ve had to explain to new players while checking streams that they are hurting themselves when they lopside their lineups
Many newbies don’t know what that means
They thought it was like War Thunder or World of Warships
As long as I buy a high BR premium squad, I can always play it
Indeed, the current environment for novices is not optimistic.
I have seen many novices complaining about the problems they encountered, too few silver coins, always being beaten by veteran players with low BR who are fully equipped, or they accidentally equipped high BR weapons and entered the high BR room and were beaten.
The matching system also needs improvement
I AM a new player and can give my experience which directly confirms the OP.
Two weeks in as of yesterday. Even though I had friends who played and I was constantly asking questions, I didn’t realize until WELL after dropping a few hundred dollars that I couldn’t even use the items I bought, or worse yet, getting sucked into battles I couldn’t contribute all that much on.
I also have several tanks that I can’t even crew at this point. I mean, seriously? And no, there is no warning that comes along with that. I also got several crew I couldn’t place in units - or, inadvertently, putting guns onto units that forced me into the higher tier matches…literally ONE gun amongst dozens of unit-members caused me to go from a BRII to a BR IV and bam, I’m in a higher tier and it took me a bit to find out what even caused that.
That is HORRIBLE DESIGN. ONE rifle or submachinegun can send you into the only other tier of matches available? C’mon.
I really like this game, and I’d love to see it succeed - please make this more newbie friendly.
