High-br weapons have an overwhelming advantage over low-br weapons.If the match is unreasonable, it is a massacre.

You should be able to fight +1 BR without any major issues until you fully reach BR 5 yourself. It’s just a fast pace game there that most newer players aren’t used to. You have to be aggressive and push constantly. That’s the whole end game experience. If you get too many players on your team that don’t build rallies and sit in grey zone you’re doomed.

Let’s have a custom battle.
You use G43, and I use AVT.
shouldn’t have any major issues.

That’s a misrepresentation of how the BR system works, not everyone will be max BR in the battle.

And at medium to long ranges the AVT and G43 perform very similarly. AVT just has full auto.

You can quite easily overcome “equipment differences” simply by being good at the game

That’s probably one of the more extreme comparisons. Fortunately, it doesn’t really come down to just those 2 weapons. You’re ideally using all of BR4s equipment. Which has good SMGs, MGs, tanks, planes. Can’t forget all the extra stuff like engineer buildables.

Also, as someone else mentioned you rarely get matched against a full team of BR5 That’s fully kitted out.

The trouble is even if you fought you’re clone
the one with the better weapons wins
so even if you reach the peak level you would loose to another player of the same level with better gear

Medium/heavy tanks and aircraft have entered the chat.

“Oh what do you mean you cant kill a Tiger tank with a Boys rifle? Must be skill issue.”

Its also a matter of player ability. Like me with a Lee Enfield Mk IV against 1 guy with a Gewehr 41, yeah I can deal with that fine.
But what about when entire enemy squads have automatic rifles? Or indeed everyones spamming SMGs or better still, assault rifles??

As Ive said before its a Bren gun versus an MG34. BR difference of 1, but a BIG difference between those two weapons abilities.

Why cant we just fix BRs? Its not that hard.

I hear people talk about this magic playstyle change, what is it?

Enlisted is all about spamming the objective with automatic weapons.

So what am I supposed to do with my .303 then? I could try and snipe them coming to the objective, but thats not really helping (and not always possible). M1 Garand is no better.

At the moment Im mostly okay with my BR III weapons, but BR II especially was an issue going up against BR III or even IV. That had nothing to do with ‘playstyle’, merely this stupid situation of BRs that are official on paper only.

Seriously? I absolutely love playing BR2. There’s amazing line ups for all nations, except japan really. I win quite a few matches. Adapting play style means you dont just rush a room with a semi auto, or charge straight ahead into MG fire. You play the field differently with what you have on hand and according to what you’re going against.

BR2 and 3 are my favorites, and i have no issues with the current bracketing system other than the times i get matched against +2 players, but +1 is no big deal at all. Sounds more like a personal issue

BR II has some nice weapons. But okay so you cant rush a room with semi auto, fine, no problem. Except objectives are usually rooms/a single building.

What are we supposed to do then?

I dont understand how the game will be ruined keeping BR II to BR II, BR III to BR III and so forth.

BR V definitely needs to be its own thing, half the BR V weapons arent even real weapons just BS prototypes from the last few months of the War.

BR III SMG’s can put work in if you put work in. Abuse them

idk, I only have the PC version and in this version I really cant convert boyst ATR to 1000LB bomb.

But then again looking at your profile and finding that lovely console icon. Im sure you can deal with BR1 equipment against bots in console games.
I guess thats where the delusions of your skill comes from.

Thing is, people who play competitively will always abuse SMGs, MGs, and/or automatic guns in general no matter what BR you’re in. This is just the state of the game and “fixing BRs” won’t do anything about it.

Semi-automatic and manual weapons have inherent disadvantages.
You should let him use PPD or PPS
