The Western Front Expansion

I have a Suggestion in which the Campaign: Invasion of Normandy should be expanded into a new Campaign: The Western Front.

I believe that it would be in the developer’s and the community’s best interest to expand our existing Normandy campaign to encompass the whole 1944-1945 Western Theatre. This remastered campaign would include; The Allied Landings in Normandy, The Liberation of France, The Allied advances into Germany, The Winter counter-offensives (The Battle of the Bulge), and the Final Battles of the Western Theatre. The expansion of the campaign will mean more equipment, weapons, vehicles, customization, and content for the player base. This can also expand unique premium squads.

Expanding the current campaign will help it to maintain and expand its current player base. It will allow players to grind out a single expansive campaign instead of dividing them into smaller campaigns, which will only provide slightly different units and weapons. This will make Premium Squads feel a lot more viable to buy and the Enlisted Devs can easily expand the Premium roster with brand new units all across the Western Theatre. Premium Squads like: French Partisans, The Italian National Republican Army , British Squads, Canadian Squads, and many many more.

Axis Forces in the Battle of the Bulge

With a much greater arsenal coming into consideration, players can look forward to grinding out all types of gear, such as the M26 Pershing Tank and the Tiger II series. The balance will be much better with the Allied Late War equipment against the fierce German Arsenal. Legendary vehicles such as the M36 Jackson or the Sherman 76m JUMBO can have a fighting chance against German Heavy Armor. As well as new equipment, the number of customization players can use will be almost limitless. The Allied Forces will be able to use all kinds of custom clothing such as the herringbone Twill uniform, Paratrooper Uniforms, M-1943 Uniforms, Greatcoats, Field Jackets, Unique Helmets, and all kinds of clothing to make each and every one of your soldiers feel unique. The Germans have it just as well, with clothing from all the way from 1935, they get Greatcoats, Summer Tunics, Wool Tunics, Camouflaged Clothing, and many different and unique Helmets.

While it may not fully be historically accurate, we have to sacrifice some of that accuracy in order to support gameplay. Players would be more likely to settle more hours into a campaign and work towards it when its a lot more expansive and include more maps. If the developers decided to add the battle of the bulge or liberation of France as a separate campaign, many weapons and units would be almost exactly the same, with only tiny bits of new content, allowing the campaign to be much more expansive would fix that problem in it’s entirety.

Overall I believe that expanding our current Normandy campaign will be very good for the future of Enlisted. I also do believe that expanding our other campaigns such as the BATTLE FOR MOSCOW, BATTLE OF BERLIN, BATTLE OF STALINGRAD, and BATTLE OF TUNISIA, should also be taken into consideration for expanding the overall experience of Enlisted. Enlisted needs to expand its player base, but it also needs to make sure its player base stays playing Enlisted, with lots of content and experiences.

I am in favor of making several sub-campaigns in one, invasion of Normandy should have been more about lowly osttruppen with captured French and other countries vehicles, fighting against united western allies invasion force, which also can’t quite bring in the best of their toys (except aviation).
The further advances into France and towards Germany is where the real fun should begin.

Some folks however oppose the idea of more campaigns, as it would divide the playerbase even further. I also consider it more as a desperate measure.

so the solution is that this should be added as a normandy campaign(and maybe renamed) to not divide playerbase, and at the same time add more scenarios and weaponry

It has long been proposed to expand the existing campaigns… And what did they do? They added Stalingrad. In my opinion, the essence is clear, they will continue to add campaigns to get even more money. And it is unlikely that they will expand Normandy.

They are more likely to add a “Market Garden” campaign.

Well. They did it with Pacific and its not much better.

They made Pacific one campaign for the entire period of the war between the USA and Japan, which is already a mistake.

Which is why merging fronts, campaign whatever together is not necessary a good thing either.

Best what I can say about it is was written in my topic “Campaigns rework”.

Stalingrad was added because player voted for it, it was one of the crowdfunding goal.

It was, but devs select Berlin.

What do you mean they selected Berlin? Stalingrad still been added into the game.

The majority voted for Stalingrad, but the developers decided to make Berlin. The fact that they released Stalingrad six months ago does not mean that they decided to fulfill the results of that five-year (or how many) voting in this way.

it has no counter so i doubt gonna be their.

Any proof of they said they give up on Stalingrad and made Berlin? Any announcement of replacing the player decided campaign into Berlin?

Why it can’t be it? You are not dev themselves, so how should you know their decision? You can’t change the fact of the dev delivered Stalingrad which is people voted for.

Simple logic.

If you want more accuracy answer, then ask again me in Monday.

If your reason is Berlin is released before the Stalingrad, then so is Tunisia, but the dev didn’t give up on Tunisia.

well unification could be done better if there was functioning MM. get unified grind and then have MM match campaigns depending on the equipment you have equiped and are present in those campaigns.

Pershing

only if you ignore time lines which gonna enrage many armchair historians.

only see appear battle of bulge or something. but yeah for extra content i’m all for it.
