So instead of asking for that how about we just fix the maps and fix the spawns so we won’t have this problem.
And I don’t know all the maps by heart but if anyone would like to post maps which have problematic Gray zones please go ahead.

To be honest it is very rarely a problem for me. I can recall only one from the Moscow set, it was in the forest on the North side (I think) of the Maisky Forestry. There is a Control Point in the middle where a tank with good HE could shoot in with no problem while hiding on the north side. We were at 700 tickets and lost that game for a grueling long time. There was very little flanks to hit that tank. I tried hitting it with an AT rifle and it couldn’t penetrate. It has to be a BR 3 tank.
Or just remove it altogether.
yeah i can already see how this will go. fixing over 140 maps is pretty easy…
although there are some problematic spawns, they are in minority when talking about gray zone camping.
gray zone is not such a problem right now (compared to premerge). USA still suffers most cause of it cause it has shit AT weapon and it only has 57mm AT canon that can only pen 101mm. although soviet/german AT canon is also not the best for BR5 with its 150mm penetration.
to fix gray zone problem they need to add
Strongly disagree, before anything else should be added I think we need to change the BR queues.
All good points but I think moving back all spawns be easier by a couple meters so everyone can be happy and then adding a few extra spawn locations would be good too.
If we remove it all together you’ll start to see weird things when people start exploring and we need it so people can’t outright start spawn killing people.
those 2 are not mutually exclusive. adding another queue depends on the number of players, while adding better weapons/vehicles depends on the devs.
Indeed, but the balance of some equipment can depend solely on how many people are in the queue, who they queue against, what equipment they have, and where they are.
Japan with at gun that only has 77mm pen:
The only issue I ever had was Berlin where you have to take the bridge. Tanks could camp the bridge and hit our tank spawns from one spot while being right in between 2 buildings making it difficult to bomb.
I think they fixed the spawns on that though.
In most other cases, gray zone tanks are easy targets for a bomb. Either bomb them yourself or keep them marked to help your team bomb them.
When they are a problem, it tends to because I’m against a good team with AA or good pilots to support while matched on a weaker team - but that’s still just a player issue.
Beloe lake invasion has huge spawnkilling problem. One of the tank spawns is literally in front of the lake making clear view for spawncampers on the other side. Also the greyzone of infantry extends into the defenders tanks spawn meaning that infantry can lay mines in the vehicle spawn
Multiple Pacific maps have areas where tanks can fire from deep within the greyzone and be virtually untouchable by infantry (especially if it’s a Jumbo/Pershing)
Every campaign has this issue though. The fact that this, along with plane cycling, has not been addressed just shows that DF is catering to the lowest skill player base (the people that don’t want vehicles to be rebalanced at all)
