The tank vs tank combat need something

I replaced all my tank squad with figther squad, tank simply are not fun anymore, the gameplay is boring and dont matter if you are using a TD an Armored car a Tank the gameplay is the same for everyone…

It need a rework or something wo make him unique in base of what veichle you are using, currently the figther give more satisfaction

From my experience. Tanks are only used when you can secure your victory or you need to take out sone sort of sniper/machine gun nest in building. In Berlin, all the tanks can be easily countered by AT weapon and in stalingrad kv1 is just soooooo op even tnt is so hard to kill one.
I think what makes the game really boring is the matching system. The current leveling system is just like matching br1.0 with br10.0 in a game in WT. and update about buffing bolts are like giving 1.0 ammo to kill a 10.0. So a win or a lost really depends which side have more high-level players.

Tanks have many porblems:

  • They get stuck on the smallest little objects
  • Armor piercing rounds can get blocked even by little tree branches
  • On uneven ground they just spontaneously start vibrating
  • Armor penetration is very inconsistent
  • The penetration markers tell the enemy where you are, even if visibility is blocked
  • Recently the MG overheat too fast
  • HE rounds most of the time dont really work if you hit a wall and not the ground

Just to name a few issues.

I peronaly still have my tank squad in my lineup, but only for the same reasons TheOnlyB33 mentioned.

Honestly tanks are really buggy on uneven surfaces making them vibrate very badly. HE rounds dont work half the time if you have high ping which is almost all the time, a squad can survive an HE round if your gun is below 50mm even if it hid right at the squad’s feet. AP rounds can be blocked by a lamp post. Worse is that theres no matchmaking where a T-60 can face off with a T-34 in Moscow, a Stuart vs a Tiger in Normandy etc.

i find the sights to be veery wobbly you go over a little hill and it jumps like crazy also the accuracy is bad why dont they make it like in WT

Yeah. HnG is awful mess which keeps giving me nightmares but the maps at least gave decent tank gameplay (as long as you dont look at the river spam) and gave lights, TD and fast tanks a reason to exist. This imo the most serious issue of tanks as “flanking” is reduced to drive 50-100m to the left/ right. This is worsen by tanks overall being buggy as hell and being able to attack most cps from the spawns.

Its begging us to pick a Jumbo and dont move foreward. It was always boring, at least in Brokemandy. Moscow got worse when they started to give the Russians buggy mini-T34.

It’s not boring for me though.
You are not the most important player ever. If you dont like something, it doesn’t mean that change is inevitable.
Stop with that nonstop crying, it’s annoying.

Everything you do on this forum is complaining and crying, nothing else honestly. It’s so annoying + your opinion doesn’t even matter.

The classic Tiger vs Stuart in Normandy that’s every Tiger driver’s dream. T-34 drivers in Moscow still have to worry about AT guns, GrB, Stuka or high level tanks unlike Tiger that’s basically unstoppable given the driver’s proper use, the team has air superiority or Allies have no planes.

that is very true however there are things some crucial things for this, you need to build an AT cannon with a clear view and without anyone noticing because once your engineers are taken out (uneven surface makes the AT cannon vibrate like crazy), that plan is out the window, planes require team to mark the tank position and if you are with a team full of crickets then good luck try to bomb the tank from the tracers, high level tanks can indeed go toe to toe with other high level tanks.

Its just need space. Maps are too small
