The Sun and lighting issue

Have you ever played a match of enlisted then you noticed the room is too dark or the sun is rising and the sun blocks your view and giving the enemy team an advantage.

This is a problem probably most people have to go through and the fact that theres no bloom slider in the option menu is just dissapointing. my eyes burns everytime i have to look up the sun. I don’t need to see a virtual sun if i can see one irl

And for the rooms ? its pitch black, its so dark i don’t know if im actually playing Enlisted or Doom 3. i can’t even tell apart if its friendly or an enemy. also why’s theres no light in some building that actually have a light

So can we atleast have a time effect that is somewhat balanced and doesn’t favor the enemy team advatage

I’ve not specifically noticed this in Enlisted, but then again I am de-sensitised from War Thunder where this is a normal occurence.
They may be importing weather and daily timeframe variations from WT.
I think there could be some interesting opportunities for dusk or even night battles with flares going up and what not. It looks pretty cool in WT, so I’m thinking it would work in Enlisted as well.

Maxed settings like ultra or just high setting ?

Before was like this but nowdays is fine

Yes ultra.

I don’t experience this. I am a minority?

This happens on Tunisia campaign where you have to assault a location while facing the sun .
It just blinds all the assaulting forces making it impossible to see (nevermind aim at) the defenders.
If I was commanding this assault I’ll rave the recon squad lined against a wall and shot.

I’m starting to see why people avoid that campaign

The way everything shines outside is a problem, but it affects different maps / campaigns unequally. Either way it’s way over the top and unpleasant on the eyes, makes me personally want to wear sunglasses. That’s not the kind of “realism” I want from a game. The “looking at the sun” effect is a separate matter I think.

The sun on tunisia is fine imo. because the map is already that bright, so the sun isn’t really a problem.

Yea I’ve noticed this its rather frustrating i wish you could turn the lighting bloom effects off its giving me flashbacks of battlefield 3.

Yep >w>

Yes agree with this i have the same issue

There needs to be an option to turn those rather shitty light effects off sure it may look “pretty” but its really not practical and just obscures your view.

A smart commanter would mind the sun factor so he could either choose different assault direction or time of the day

indeed, they can simply go arround the capture point and attack by the sides instead of going straight foward against the sun (it may be even a better attack since bots will go against the sun without suffering with it and distracting the defenders)

In reality you don’t always get to choose such things, but there are also many other factors at play in real combat. On the other hand, in a fairly simmetrical game it is a big deal when something like that disproportionately affects one side. Still, I think the sun effect by itself is mostly fine. It’s the glowing surfaces that are a big problem, despite the fact that they affect everyone equally.
