Got the same experience, like many other players too…
I have no idea, why the german team is unplayable right now. Some say many want to play the new T20 gun (US) or stick with russian bias, but there always was interesting new stuff for all nations and always a small movement in the playerbase, even before the “glorious” merge. But since many weeks it seems unplayable and unenjoyable for the german team.
At least I got my first victory after ~ 20 defeats today…
I hope this mess will end soon.

What japan low teir feels like now too
They stopped adding new and interesting content to germany after the merge. The only times germany has had active playerbase was during events with axis rewards. Why play a nation with a dead tech tree?

what else is there to add to germany? there’s a hell of a lot more to add to everyone else… they kind of ran out of runway for the germans
the T20 was just this update, the US/UK still lacks the Lewis Gun, (as does Japan)… the USSR lacks a light-semi-auto-only carbine.
going to “omg a 100 round MG” would be an equal flash in the pan moment, there’s nowhere else to go.

I Feel ur pain, but its in this game’s nature. this time our faction suffers but next month other factions will suffer, here is the few matches I had after the update

As you said, the obvious one is MG 42/100rd but that’s not where the list starts and ends
Including only item suggestions and not minor QOL:
-Proper Panzershreck after Ofenrohr(It would have marginally higher penetration)
-SS-41 AT rifle (Czech Semi Auto AT rifle made for the…well guess who from the name)
-An actual truck APC instead of just half tracks
Including Minor QOL
-FG starting in auto
-Many weapons which can mount a bayonet currently lack them, examples include FG, MKB42H, and Mannlicher
-Numerous unused uniforms are files for the Axis and remain to be implemented as actual options in customization
-Italian squads losing their uniforms outside Tunisia
All that from just the top of my head, any of that would be preferable to a simple singular filler tank, or hell, even if they got nothing or barely anything atleast use the extra development time to add more then a single meaningful item and 16 filler tanks to the other nations

Still I’d wait until After the US and Japan both get Tier III 47 round Lewis guns…
no argument there; think that APC’s in general should be revised entirely;
heh, you’re going to need to come up with an equivalent for the US/UK, Japan, and USSR.
otherwise would prefer that there’s a series of upgrades to the system of buildables that allow for tier/BR appropriate AT and AA guns being setup.
lol no. make the AI use semi-autos better…
- if presently the AVT-40 and AVS-38 start on auto maybe make them stop doing that; give them a similar dispersion in their sniper variants, etc… I try to avoid the sniper roles as they seem to be not terribly useful overall.
- Maybe move the M2 carbine to Assault as it’s closer to an assault rifle…
this is true for a lot of Allied weapons as well at least a couple japanese weapons:

- Pattern 14,
- Ross Rifle,
- Winchester 1895, Soviet Lever-Action
- Winchester 1912, should be a trench-gun model with a bayonet.

Which if added would mean I never ever ever have to read about P-47’s again as the F-8 and A6M5 Hei have plenty of rockets and bombs;
I’ve been rather vocal about those two having a capability gap in AT, but this post was about exclusively Germany for the time being
Yeah no that’s not happening mate, every other Select Fire rifle starts in Auto, bar both FGs and the AVS, that’s not going to change, and M2C isn’t getting its classification changed - people had to fight for 2+ years for the VG 1-5 to get changed from an SMG to a semi auto lol
No I’m not including any vehicles bar the APC suggestion as this game absolutely does not need more vehicle love
Is Germany just bad currently? I installed earlier today and against USSR there is just no contest, after trying to defend the first zone, they capture the 2nd and 3rd faster than I can run there.
its just bad, no matter what BR is
