Going back to my suggestions regarding this topic, I really think that Stalingrad is a “campaign” practically abandoned and totally wasted by the devs, I know that the “campaign” was not well received but it was because of that strange paywall that came with it and because it came with a single map and it was not until the following year that they added a second one, however that is no reason not to give it content, you can get much more out of the “campaign”, how? Easy, expand the city map by adding new areas, such as:
Pavlov house:
Pavlov’s house was an apartment building which was defended from numerous German attacks by Pavlov and his men, this site is quite iconic and I think it deserves its representation in the game, adding a new district with more buildings including Pavlov’s house would give a small expansion to the city map in the game, and why not, a sewer system which would serve both sides as a shortcut to flank the enemy.
red october factory:
Yes, indeed, another factory map, I know that this type of map is not liked by many, especially those who play with vehicles, and I know that we already have another tractor factory map for Stalingrad, but I think it is worth it mention Red October, like Pavlov’s house, it is another iconic site of the Battle of Stalingrad which cannot be missed, of all the factories that were in the city, Red October was the most important and I think its addition to the game It would be interesting.
the grain elevator:
The grain elevator was built like a fortress with solid concrete walls. Fierce fighting broke out at this site where the defenders withstood numerous German attacks.
This map would really be interesting to see in the game.
The battle of Stalingrad was always a very interesting historical context for me and I really liked its integration into the game, in fact it is one of my favorite maps along with Berlin and Normandy, however, unlike the rest, the Stalingrad map is still feeling very incomplete and i think it needs more love from the devs.
I would really appreciate Stalingrad receiving new maps and, as I suggested in previous posts, an improvement in its environmental atmosphere.
