Krag was used by the US in late 19th century after M1903 replaced it
Ross is still more realistic than krag

The M1941 Johnson would be much better then either the Ross or the Lee, it competed against and was even considered by some to be better then the M1 Grand.

I would disagree on those choices.

The M1941 Johnson wasn’t use in Normandy, mostly issued to Paramarine in the Pacific and a bunch were given to Free French Forces stationned in North Africa.
The M70 was issued in small number in the Pacific.
The Krag–Jørgensen wasn’t around even during WWI.

However the number of british weapons for the US really bothered me too, so I made a list of replacement I would suggest :

  • Sten MK II : M1A1 Thompson
  • Lanchester : M1928A1 Thompson
  • PIAT : M9 Bazooka
  • Bren MK II : replaced in the campaign by the M1918A1, which would be replaced by the M1918A2, which would be replaced by the M1919A6 (didn’t really know how to phrase it more clearly, hope you get my point, tl dr just moving things down and adding a belt-fed MG at the end)
  • Two-inch Mortar : M2 60mm Mortar
  • Ross Mk. III: Enfield M1917
  • I can’t came up with a replacement for the Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I that would be equivalent, so maybe a different weapon type like a Garand with a M7 grenade launcher.

Not British but could be replaced :

  • M2 Carbine : M1A1 Carbine (no selector switch, I know, but the M2 was only issued in the Pacific theater).

The M3A1 shouldn’t be there either giving that it started to be issued at the end of 1944 but not that big of a deal imo.

Most of this things would mean a balance for when and you unlock them and with wich unit. But It would be more historicaly accurate.
