MG 15 is rendered moot anyway with the arrival of MG 42 100, we might as well just delete it and never speak about it forever

Why? Diversity is good, it’s different, it’s German, it’s already here. Might as well stay. No point removing a unique weapon from the stock, it’s not like the PPSh or Breda that got cut, which have their own more appropriate factions, although I’m against removing any content. They could leave the M93, though, it’s unique, and although Germans are bloated, nothing foldering couldn’t fix.

If I’m correct the mg15 has a higher ROF than mg42 100 and some might prefer the AA sights on it.

I always hated the MG15, AA sights are trash but that is not a legitimate reason to remove it.
Sorry but as a fellow Germany enjoyer, I must say that the TTK of MGs with 800+ rof is faster than the normal human reaction time which means that 1200 rpm is overkill and that you will end up wasting precious bullets.
Stock MG42 100 has around 6 sec reload time mind you so I would not advise anyone to mindlessly spray.

why would they remove it, it’s fine at br 5 anyway. more gun diversity the more stuff I can grind. also removing it is going to piss most of us veteran players off, we spent ages grinding this stuff.
Uhh real, back before we could store extra research points, we actually had to grind 180.000 XP just for 1 level.

DF: USSR gets everything, even Japanese weapons.
Germany gets Soviet weapons
Japan gets US, German and Swiss weapons
USA gets MG42…
Also DF: No Western Allies, you cant have your own weapons*, 'dems the rules.

Oh my god no. Why does everything have to be a straight upgrade? That’s boring as hell. Keep both weapons with their positives and negatives to using both.
MG15 is better in my opinion
MG42 100 have crazy horizontal recoil, MG15 still suitable for “big assault rifle” gameplay
Well, no reason to remove it. If people don’t like it or found a better gun, they will just stop using it. I like the BAR 1918A2 and stopped using the M2 Stinger and Browning 1919A6 at level 5, but I would never want to see them disappear from the game.

If people want to play a ppsh 41 type gun as Germany they should buy the suomi premium squad or use the mp41r or ppsh obrez. But seeing ppsh 41s in Normandy reminds me of cod vanguard, so putting a carbon copy in the tech tree wouldn’t help.

MG-42 (100) is already very good and surpasses MT by one and a half times in ROF, not inferior to it in tape size.
I’m not talking about Browning M1919…
