The threshold is too low so that everyone can become a marshal, and it is reasonable that the marshal should be set to at least 2000 points
In addition, rich rewards should be added after reaching each rank
Its biggest effect is probably to scare away timid players at the beginning of the game

Nah. Rather, it should be reasonable that this silly ranking thing be removed entirely.
Also, 2k points means at minimum 1k battles, all won and with awards.

(You mustn’t forget that points will RESET to lieutenant point lvl at new battle pass…)

are you crazy? 2k points? if you play enlisted for 5 hours a day with team then you can do that…
It doesnt make sense because these are not ranks, this is just like War thunder LEVELS.

Does it reset? Because my rank stayed Marshall after they added the current BP season.

Keo said it somewhere in a post when they implemented it: “it will reset at the end of the next battle pass.”
If you go check your profile where ranks lvls are shown, it’s also mentioned it will reset at the bp end. If you hover your mouse over the ranks, it will tell you how much points you will keep at bp end.
If you’re marshall, you will keep enough point to start off at lieutenant lvl, for example.
This is the first iteration of the rank system so it makes sense that it isn’t 100% right. However, the reason there are so many marshals is that they haven’t reset the ranks since they released the system.
Also like you said it is just too low and allows people to get marshal with very little effort tbh. I hope they increase the amount needed a good amount

2000? Don’t you guys have jobs or other hobbies? Why would I want to treat this game as a chore just to get all the rewards? You really want to go all the way to 2000 for a soldier for Normandy Allies?
The rank system atm is entirely for show. There are rewards for getting to Marshal but they aren’t great. Keo had hinted that the rank system in the future will be like how the War Bond Store works in Warthunder. Where at certain levels and conditions you can buy ingame items with Bonds.
They stated that with the current BP they weren’t gonna reset levels. So expect it to change next BP.
