The proposed economy changes don't capture the full picture

It is indeed very heartening to see the devs taking note of the problems regarding the in-game economy. While they are trying to move in the right direction the situation is far from ideal.
Currently, the biggest obstacle for me personally is:

  1. To buy each vehicle in the tech tree (excluding some of the foldered ones) for 15,000 silver. Can this be lowered a bit to say 7,500 silver? It is a major issue for someone who needs to grind multiple Tier II-III tanks/planes to get to a Tier V tank/plane.
  2. The cost of buying Tier II, III and IV soldiers should be lowered a bit. I get it that you don’t need to upgrade the soldiers now. But come on! 7,500 silver for a Tier III Rifleman while you need to set up a 9-man squad is not ideal. Plus, while doing it for Japan recently I had to keep buying 10 soldiers to get like two 5*, 5*, 5* ones! While I get a large part of my silver back by selling the non-max rolled ones I still lose about 500 silver progressively. This is why I am not buying any of these high tier soldiers at the moment. These prices need to be lowered to 1,500 for Tier I, 3,500 for Tier II-III and 4,500 for Tier IV respectively.
  3. The cost of buying a Tier III weapon needs to be lowered a bit as well. Sometimes you also need to buy weapons in the tech tree for 3,000 silver to progress further along the line. Both of this must be lowered to 1,500 to 2,000 at best.
(P.S. What about that proposed change where you would get more silver for being a Battle Hero in-game? And while we are at it why don’t give the unpopular or the losing faction a nice silver boost? You have the stats. It’s all there in front of you.)

Shameless thread promotion.

Tier 3-5 equipment shouldn’t cost the same.

Hopefully, the devs take note of these constructive suggestions. This core aspect of the game needs to be fixed if it wishes to succeed on Steam.

Just compensation as much as before the merge is sufficient

Even top players think that the lack of silver is a problem right now

That’s true. The problem gets even acute when you consider buying higher tier soldiers. For example Tier IV Assaulters which cost 9,000 silver each. On top of that you need to buy like 10 of them to get two perfectly rolled ones. Lol.

Aren’t soldier prices like 3000-7500-9000-11500 for tier I-II-III-IV respectively? With how these look it’s really funny as tier II are the least cost-efficient tier while IV are the most. Still overpriced as hell for what benefit they give (says me, while going to spend billions to get them anyway).

Well…

To be completely accurate. You can’t even buy cheap assaulter anymore, since the medic replaced assaulters I.
Tier II soldiers costs more than double the price of tier I soldiers.

And yet there are people asking for tier V soldiers…

Well, the difference between the following tiers is no longer so high, so…

Yep. I am also thinking of accumulating a handsome amount of silver to get them. It is going to be a pure gamble akin to going to a casino in Las Vegas. However, if I go by the base perk alone some of the higher tier soldiers are not that attractive for me personally (MG IIs better than MG IIIs and Assaulter IIs better than Assaulter IVs). However, you do get a lot of perk points with these high tier soldiers which lets you build some really good combinations.

Progression my guy. Can’t have everything just handed to you

No. It shouldn’t be easy to min/max everything. The struggle of having to constantly reroll soldiers and running out of ES before you get the 3 star is what makes it less common to have. Min/max should be a struggle to achieve

Ah yeah I completed 2-3 whole matches from start to finish and won. Time to unlock a whole new thing with absolutely no work put in at all

Yeah IV and V should be massively increased /s

You are entitled to your own opinions. Nobody has handed anything to me by the way. Completely F2P from 2021 onwards and still counting. Lol.

Still the high prices are a barrier for new players to keep them in their own lane before moving forward. Keep them down, keep them low, keep them learning till they can move up to play in the Hell that is III-V

Well let’s see how long they can keep people low until it breaks the camel’s back.

Did this system ever worked?
Probably not.

Can’t move forward if you don’t have the ES to buy the next thing. How do you get ES? Playing the game. What happens when you get frustrated at how poorly you do and how little you earn? You watch guides and get better at the game. Better rally placement. Upgrading weapons. Playing the game smarter
Least if this community was intelligent that’s what they’d do

Well since now Steam is here let’s see how new players cope.

FREEDOM

Now do that for like five tiers and for like four nations with the knowlegde that there are population issues.
How fun to know that after two years or so you not only have everything unlocked but also have all squads fully equipped and upgraded.
Dat sein Fün.

You mean in inbalanced mm that is partly a gamble?
I dont know. Play a game with better mm.

Yeah we all know and love those CC on YT that didnt leave the game

Yeah With that shitty economy you might have done that right after they added bipods.

Coming from the console pleb.

Until you realize that most here already own everything due to old and unfairer system and dont need to do shit but also want new players because they are not some Burgers with severe lack of empathy.

You mean those who pay at least 20 shekels?
Yeah We gonna see A LOT of newbies.
