So I’ve been around some player designed maps and I have to say that 4 out of 5 are absolutely amazing.
I do hope and encourage more of it.
I’ve seen a map where the water level on this desert town was up by a good 10 meters turning it into an Isle conflict with some buildings raising above the water level. Boats everywhere. Some great stuff

That just sound to me that someone is really expecting to see the Pacific Campaign already and decided subconsciously to create his OWN version of it with the tools provided/ at hand.

Modder can really do a better job than developers, cyberbug 2077, battlefront 2, empire at war, mount and blade ecc… showed this, passion some time make you do a better work than money
Does someone remember the “Forgotten Hope” mod for Battlefield 1942?
It was BIG and WAY BETTER than the actual Battlefield game itself, the online community was vibrant and there were ALL the wars/ campaigns that everyone wanted to play.
Poland, France, Winter War, Continuous War, Manchuria… It was all there.
The Flooded Tunisia map was inspired by Battlefield 1 maps
