… 20 years ago. Clear objectives, all base weapons at start up, fast switch between weapons, All these squad games have the same flaw. Switch between infantry, tanks, and planes, all in the same game. Anyone anyone want to make BF2 everything with modern terrain and graphics they will have a winner.
This game has hundreds of upgrades, boosts, weapon choices, all requiring endless figuring out what screen goes to what upgrade… that is not a game, but it is a job. Make some small upgrades in three tiers you can achieve in a month and let the people play the game.

BF2 is premium game, Enlisted is F2P game.
There’s no reason to compare these two formats with each other.
Btw. the BF series is still ongoing. So go cry on their forum. Literally nobody is forcing you to play Enlisted over the most recent BF game.

BF died for a good reason, it got too stagnant, too samey and they decided to went woke with fortnite characters and women screaming at you every 2secs, now classes are also gone and everyone can equip whatever they want.
Tanks are too powerful in Battlefields you can’t really destroy them without cooperation of other players while in Enlisted they die like flies as damage model is realistic, same can be said about infantry weapons i hate movement and gunplay of BF games after playing Tarkov, Enlisted, Easy Red 2 and HLL, you are running and sprinting too fast and guns have ultra high TTK every enemy is a bullet sponge like it’s a Borderlands game. Battlefield? Never again.
They could make something unique and cool like BF2142 or BF1 again but nah let’s copy paste BF3/4 but make it 10x worse with 10x higher system requirements.

Yep, keep it in Beta so that you can tell your customers that the “bugs” are normal developmental problems. Gaijin has it down to a science.
