I bought it before - it is also censored for me now. They changed it everywhere.
I think the community in general just wants to see historically accurate emblems and insignia which we already know to be present in the game files to be added to the game, as historical legal issues have finally been alleviated for the most part. As for the Panther, I wasted a gold order on it to support similar items being added to the game, I did not even intend to thoroughly use it as I prefer the Tiger. The least they can do is return my wasted gold order.

at the end of the day , players fought well and they showed the devs their concern about censorship… this is important, we dont want banned stuff

sad part is that they arent. some countries ban nazi and/or communism symbols (although idk about their legality in games). russia has the whole denazification going on right now and you shouldnt mention tanks around june 4th in china. so if DF wants to legally build this game for everyone in the world i am afraid they will need to remove almost every historical aspect from it.
The company is legally based in Hungary. Lithuania banned the Hammer and Sickle and Russia bans all symbols associated with Nazism, but either of them actually caring about the symbols appearing in a videogame attempting to depict historical accuracy is very questionable.

well i agree… but DF is preventively removing nazi symbols cause they are afraid of legal consequences. but if they want to respect letter of the law in all countries they will need to remove historical depictions from half the game content.
I logged on today just to confirm my Gold Panther was now changed and indeed it is. I’m frustrated by this because again I don’t really care about the censorship stuff but this is honestly just lazy on the devs part. Why add the skin in the first place there are hundreds of records about Panthers not associated with the SS that they could have taken inspiration from hell they could have just given the Panther A a historical paint job and some camo netting and I would have been happy.
The fact that they took Panther R02 from the 1st SS Panzer Division and just took some magic marker to the division’s insignia is stupid in my opinion. Like we all know what that tank really is either you want that particular vehicle in your game or you don’t it’s as simple as that.
